Welcome to a Looney Tunes review of One Meat Brawl, released on January 18, 1947, and reissued on July 18, 1954. Directed by Robert McKimson, this is the 489th short in the series. In this episode, Grover Groundhog navigates Groundhog Day against Porky Pig and his dog Mandrake who are hunting groundhogs. Featuring the voice talents of Mel Blanc and Stan Freeberg, and music by Carl Stalling, this review covers the short's plot, animation, and key trivia.
NOTE THAT THIS REVIEW WAS DONE WHEN I HAD TO TRANSITION FROM COMMENTARIES TO REVIEWS. AT SOME POINT I WILL REVISIT THIS SHORT.
