(00:24):
Hello and welcome, guys. Today we are talking about
accessing the glory realm. That sounds
really, really exciting until I dig into this message. And we're going
to talk about the price that is paid
in order to access this realm. Yes,
absolutely. Jesus has paid the price. He has brought forth the
(00:46):
new covenant. He is the door that opens up
the way and the access to the father. No one comes
in except through the blood of the Lord Jesus. But when I
say accessing the glory realm, I am talking
about a life of walking in
total surrender to the will of God. A life
(01:08):
in walking with the spirit of God.
Not a life that is talking about these things,
but actually walking in an experiential way
with the Christ, the son of the living God, walking
empowered by the spirit of God in
constant, constant, constant
(01:29):
communing with the Holy Spirit. That's what I'm talking
about. I'm not talking about just every once in a while
we have an encounter with God and then we come out of that encounter and
we just live our life. But I'm talking about being so
gripped by the spirit of God that he
pulls you in to such a profound
(01:51):
relationship with him that you
walk in that glory realm. That glory
realm. We're going to break it down a little bit here in just a moment.
But I'm just simply going to say it is walking in that
manifest presence of God. So, guys, we just came
back, my wife and I, along with, I think there was
(02:13):
21 other people, including Doctor Sam and
Kathy Matthews, we just came back from the Bible College
of Wales. Being in the country of Wales, this is the
great land revival where the welsh revival broke out
and thousands upon thousands, tens of thousands of people were
greatly impacted. I mean, so much more than that. If you just
(02:35):
break this down and all of the people and the nations that have been
touched and revivals that were brought out of the welsh revival,
but this is a place of deep
revival. And we were actually at the Bible
College of Wells, and this is a place to
where the intercessions of God's people
(02:56):
shifted global events. And I'm not going to give you a history on the
Bible college. I'm not going to go through all of the people
there. But Doctor Sam and Kathy Matthews,
who are spiritual fathers and mothers to
Andrea and I and so many other people around the world.
Just knowing them for the last several years, have such.
(03:19):
Had such a profound impact
upon Andrea and man's life.
I remember Steve Wilson and Sally bringing us
into a network meeting, an apostolic
network meeting that doctor Sam and Kathy and
the apostolic team were leading. And he really didn't
(03:41):
tell us who Doctor Sam and Kathy Matthews were. He didn't
tell us much of who the ICLC network
was. He didn't tell us that there was literally tens of
thousands of churches that were connected back with this leadership
team. We had no idea. Just brought us in there. Andrea and I, we were
at such a broken place in our life, and we had met
(04:04):
Steve and Sally, and they had walked us in such a journey.
And that's mom and dad to us, such dear friends, and
such a mother and a father in our life that
brought us to such healing. And I know some of you all don't know them,
but if you know us, Andrea and I,
you know some of our story, most
(04:25):
likely. And we went through such a broken time
in our lives. Excuse me. We went
through such a broken time in our lives. And when we met Steve and Sally,
and they began to walk us through healing. Well, they had told us we wanted
us to come to a meeting, and Andrew and I walked into this
meeting, and we thought it was going to be one of those meetings where we
(04:48):
could hide, you know, like a gathering of the body. Well, this was a gathering
of apostolic leaders from. From all over the world and great
influencers. And they had this kind of u shaped table set up, and there's probably
25 people around this tables. And I
literally, I wanted to crawl under the table. I was
oozing in security. My brokenness
(05:10):
felt like it was on display in front of everyone. I
felt like. Like these. These great leaders were just looking at
my life and looking at every failure that I'd ever
had. I'd just been kicked out of an organization, and, I mean, I
was in a broken, broken place, and I wanted to
hide. But anyway, doctor Sam
(05:32):
opened up this meeting, and he said, guys, we're just going to walk and pray
for about 45 minutes. I thought, well, that. That's glorious.
Yes, I like that. So it means I don't have to talk, we don't have
to do introductions. We're just going to pray. So we pray for, like, 45 minutes,
and he brings us back to the table and he said, okay, guys, what's God
showing you? I thought he actually cares about what God
(05:54):
is showing people. This is an interesting meeting. I'm thinking
of a network meeting where you come in and
everything looks glorious and you're talking about all the growth and
the numbers and all of these things. That's part of meetings. I had been like,
I'd never been to a meeting like this. And we start sharing what the spirit
of God is showing us. He says, let's go pray some more.
(06:16):
And we pray for like another hour, we take a little break, we come back
and we pray some more. And then maybe 6 hours into this
he's like, okay, we're gonna go around the room and kind of introduce everyone
and just, just share with us what God's showing you. And I'm like,
this is incredible. So guys, we spent like 8 hours, seven,
8 hours that day in prayer. So why am I, why am I telling
(06:38):
you this? I'm introducing doctor Sam and Kathy
matthews to you. I mean they're not on the podcast, but I'm gonna tell you
who we were with in the country of Wales. They're
the founders of the family of Faith church,
they're the founders of the family of faith Christian University, they're leaders of the
ICL network with tens of thousands of churches,
(07:00):
partners with doctor Randy Clark and a global awakening
theological seminary of family of Faith Christian university.
What a name that is. I think they call it Gatz for short. So
anyway, they are spiritual kids. To
Samuel, Samuel Howells. And his father was the founder of the Bible
College of Wells. And we went into this place at the
(07:22):
Bible college and it on the
wall of the blue room. Now if you've ever read
intercessor, the book intercessor
written by Norman Grubb, it'll talk about the blue room. And the
blue room was a place of intercession. It was the primary
place of prayer during the war.
(07:43):
And written on the wall is something that has just gripped me.
It says your, you must understand,
the Lord's servant was possessed by God.
Now that is some strong words. That is written on
the wall in big bold type.
(08:04):
And it says, written under that, it says
in those times during the second world war,
Samuel Howells remembered how he would find
his father when he quietly slipped into his room
to be physically exhausted, looking as
pale as death and soaked
(08:27):
in perspiration because of the agony
he was experiencing as he carried the
intercession. Such was the cost of
intercession. For Reese Howells, it did cost
him everything. It did take a
toll on his life. He was often, he would
(08:49):
often respond whenever Samuel Howells asked him if he
was all right or if it was worth carrying such
a heavy burden, his answer was
invariably that he was perfectly fine and
could not be better. Guys, that is written on
the wall of the prayer room. The Lord's servant
(09:10):
was possessed by God. What do you think it
means when the Holy Spirit possesses you?
I mean, we do deliverance. See, a lot of you guys are connected to us
because of deliverance, and we cast demons out of people.
But this is talking about being possessed not by a demon spirit, not
my evil spirit, but possessed by God.
(09:33):
God had so gripped Reese Howells with
intercession that when, when he would
move. Into this glory realm of
intercession, it cost him everything.
His own son walking into the room, seeing him physically
exhausted, looking as pale as death, soaked in sweat,
(09:55):
because of the agony of the intercession,
that would be that place to where true
intercession comes out of the sons and daughters of
God. I am utterly convinced right now
that very few people that use the term
intercession have any understanding of what it actually
(10:17):
means. I'm not just talking
about praying for someone. I'm not just talking about
praying for God's blessing, praying for God to save someone.
But I'm talking about being so connected
with Christ Jesus as the great
intercessor that you feel what he
(10:38):
feels, you experience what he
experiences. You know the will
of God for the earth. And that responsibility
is being laid upon you as an intercessor to
pray forth the will of God into the earth.
That is what I'm talking about. When, when I read this, that has to
(11:00):
be the meaning of these words, of the
cost of intercession. It takes, your
entire being is gripped. Both your
physical body is gripped of God. Your soulish mind is gripped
of God, and your spirit is gripped of God. And God is
breaking your internal will to align with
(11:22):
his will. And you understand the magnitude and the
responsibility of carrying the will of God in the
earth, serving your generation. That has to be
what, this is what this means. That was written in
the prayer room that he was gripped of God
because he felt the agony as he carried
(11:45):
the intercession. When God
spoke to us in
2019 in July, and he said, I'm giving
you a mandate of intercession for the full
eradication of witchcraft and occult powers. Out of the
region of East Tennessee. In which we live, I
(12:07):
felt the weight of those words.
Those words became a
part of my being. They became a
part of the well of Miraville, the local church. They
became a part of who we were,
we did not understand the magnitude
(12:29):
of what God was saying. But we knew that it was heavy.
We knew that there was a weight to those
words. We knew that that was the will of
God for East Tennessee, that it would be
free from occult powers, that it would be free from
witchcraft. Has that happened yet? No. Are
(12:50):
we closer today than we have ever been? Absolutely, without a
doubt. But I spoke to our elders and I
said, I said we have to take this, you have to take this and go
pray and seek God. And let's talk again because we
have to know, is this the word of the Lord for
us? Is this the mandate of a heaven that is
(13:12):
going to touch all of our lives?
Not the church building, but it's going to touch
the assembly of the saints that we are to lead. And if
God is actually doing that, if that is what he is
saying to us, our lines, our lives
must fully become aligned with that
(13:33):
intercession. That it becomes paramount,
it becomes preeminent, it becomes a part of everything
that we do. It grips our lives until
it is fulfilled in the earth. And we all agreed
this is what God is saying to us. And it literally, as
we carried that intercession, as we were gripped of God, feeling the
(13:56):
burden and feeling the righteousness and feeling the pain
of the people that were under those things, we felt all of those
things in our being. As we pray this forth and
as we combat the powers of darkness that has held
a region, that has locked down a church.
That's what this has to mean of what is written on the
(14:18):
wall of the blue room at the Bible
College of Wells, that your servant
was possessed of God.
There's lots of things that I want to say. I've got all
kinds of scriptures and we'll probably do a part two on
(14:38):
this because I have to get this out. But I'm going to read this to
you again written on the wall
of the blue room. If you could see this, I'm looking at the photo right
now. You must understand, the Lord's servant was
possessed of God in the times during the second
World War. Samuel Howells remembered he would find his
(14:59):
father when he quietly slipped into the room. His
father was physically exhausted, looking as
pale as death, soaked in perspiration because of the
agony he was experiencing as he carried the
intercession.
It goes on, it said it cost him everything and it
(15:21):
took a toll upon his life.
But when his son Samuel would ask him,
was it worth it to carry such a heavy burden,
Reese Howells would respond, I am perfectly
fine and I. Could not be better.
(15:42):
Saints of God, brothers and sisters, you must
allow the spirit of God to take hold of
you. Many of you that are listening, you are leaders, you
are called to your region, you are leading aspects in the
body of Christ, you're leading in realms of business and
academia. You must say, what are
(16:04):
the intercessions? What is Christ interceding for right now
in that realm? And you must
ask God, are you calling me to
lay down my life that I may
enter into those intercessions again? I'm not just talking
about praying. I am talking
(16:25):
about giving your life in surrender
that the will of God may be manifest in the earth
and taking the responsibility
to see that brought about. Yes, it is Jesus doing the
work. But listen, beloved, he is doing the work
through you. He is interceding through
(16:49):
you. He is moving in the earth through you by the
power of his spirit and the grace of God.
I talked about the title of this podcast,
accessing the glory,
and that gets the charismatic circles all up
and a lot of excitement. But the way
(17:12):
I'm talking about accessing the glory is through the
death of yourself that the life of
Christ may be made manifest through
you. The glory realm is a, is a
realm to where God's presence is made manifest. He
is tangibly felt in every fiber of your
(17:34):
being. It is where you experience
him. He is the glory. You experience
his love, you experience his holiness, you experience his majesty, you
experience his righteousness. This is something that goes beyond
your intellect. It is a deep, deep
encounter with the living Christ.
(17:56):
Psalm 1611 says, you make known to me the
path of life. You fill me with your joy
in your presence, with eternal pleasures. At your right hand he makes
known to you the path of life. If you
die, you live in the kingdom. You must
experience that the death of Christ,
(18:19):
and then his life fills you and he begins to live
his life through you. Some describe
this glory realm as the reality of heaven manifesting
upon the earth, and I fully agree with that. That's
rooted in the Lord's prayer in Matthew six, verse
ten. Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth
(18:43):
as it is in heaven. That is the Lord's prayer.
But I believe that is the beginning, that is the
beginning of experiencing his intercessions.
We know that it is the will of God that none perish, that all
come to repentance. We know that it is the will of God
for heaven to manifest here on the earth, for all darkness
(19:06):
to be broken, for sin to be eradicated, for witchcraft and evil
powers to be driven out of these regions. Is it
enough to say, your kingdom come, your will be done on
earth as it is in heaven? Or does God want you to receive the
intercession for the region that you live in? You
receive that and you begin to carry that out in your
(19:28):
entirety, in your entire life, in your physical, your
body, your spirit. And you give yourself over to
him that he begins to pray through you. And you
don't see anything else. You don't experience anything else. You
just experience him. And even his agony is being
prayed out. You feel his broken heart for
(19:50):
your region. You feel his broken heart for the people that
you were influencing. And you become consumed and gripped by
the spirit of God that you can't let go. And he won't let
go of you until the will of God manifests in the area that
he has assigned to you. And you not only feel that, you not only
pray that, but you take that as a responsibility.
(20:15):
If there's one great, great concern that
I see in the body of Christ right now, it is
people not taking responsibility.
Yes, they take responsibility, maybe for their personal life
or their family, but you must learn to
(20:35):
take responsibility for your region, for your town,
for your neighborhood that you are called
as an ambassador of the kingdom of God.
And whatever you bind on earth will be bound, and whatever you
loose will be loosed. Guys, you take that
responsibility as a gatekeeper, as an
(20:58):
intercessor, as a watchman upon the wall for your
neighborhood, and you take that responsibility. And
if something evil is coming into your neighborhood, you don't get to go.
Well, that's just how it is. No, you are living a life
as an intercessor, and you stand before the people.
And that evil thing that wants to come into your neighborhood and
(21:20):
you forbid it, that means you bind it. You stand in the authority
that Christ has delegated you as an intercession. You say you
will not pass this way. And if it has already
passed that way, then through the intercessions, you begin
to stand up and you begin to resist first, and then you begin to
drive that evil out of your neighborhoods.
(21:43):
That's what I talk about, what I mean when I say accessing
the glory realm that you have died to yourself, it is no
longer you that live, but Christ that lives within you. And the
Christ that lives within you will not tolerate evil
coming upon his people. But my
great concern is we've cast off
(22:05):
responsibility for the situations,
and we tend to pull away to
nice places in the fellowship of the
saints. And yes, that's a huge part of our
walk is the fellowship of the saints. But from
that deep fellowship we move out as warriors of God and
(22:26):
ambassadors of the kingdom, and we begin to drive
these things out. You see, you can host the presence
God, the glory of God as an individual.
You can host the presence of God and the glory of
God as a family. You can host the presence
of God and the glory of God as the body of Christ, a
(22:48):
local church family. But your
region, your city, your neighborhood can
also host the presence of God.
You have to begin to see that. When I pray
over our region and I weep over our region, and I
lean into God for our region, I see the
(23:11):
region fully free of the
witchcraft and occult powers. I see
that. But yet that's not yet fully
manifested. So everything that is
against that reality, it must be driven out of
the region. And that doesn't get
(23:32):
driven out of the region just because we take a couple of minutes and
oh Jesus, let your will be done on earth as it is in
heaven. Yes, we pray that, but we live
that. We experience that. We give our lives
over to that. We are gripped of God and we
cannot lay down the responsibility.
(23:54):
What am I saying? I'm saying this with tears in my eyes.
That is God calling you to give
your life to him.
Oh, I'm not talking about God. Forgive me. I'm
not talking about God. Give me a message to preach. I'm
talking about give your life for the
(24:18):
wheel that he carries as the great intercessor to be
manifested upon the earth.
That maybe someday someone will talk
about your life and they will say, you must
understand that was the Lord's
servant and he was possessed of the
(24:39):
spirit of God. Until next time.
