Convertida en promotora de salud comunitaria, Mirian impulsa y acompaña a un grupo de mujeres que han tomado un conjunto de decisiones en asuntos públicos para construir una casa de salud comunitaria y un jardín botánico vivo de plantas medicinales para la preservación de la medicina tradicional maya.
