This week we review the 1986 American teen comedy film Ferris Bueller's Day Off written, co-produced, and directed by John Hughes.
The film stars Matthew Broderick, Mia Sara, and Alan Ruck, with supporting roles from Jennifer Grey, Jeffrey Jones, Cindy Pickett, Edie McClurg, Lyman Ward, and Charlie Sheen.
It tells the story of a charismatic high school slacker, Ferris, who skips school with his best friend Cameron and his girlfriend Sloane for a day in Chicago, regularly breaking the fourth wall to explain his techniques and inner thoughts.
We start this week with more Repo-man stories - the Aussie used to be a repo man and the 2 stories he tells this week are hard to believe - the Scotsman tries to hide his surprise - and does not do a very good job of it.
The Aussie first mentioned he was a Repo-man in our podcast The Best of Leonardo DiCaprio and he takes no prisoners.
He tells a great story - but it is going to be very devisive.
As we get into the podcast you won't believe it but the Aussie tears up after the intro. Is this related to his story? Nope - the nostalgia of the plot summary send him into a melt down.
