*I realize that I bounce around between referring to Tate O'Byrne as either Tate or O'Byrne. In my mind it meant something when the references switched, but it can be confusing and jarring. Tate is a name of Irish origin that means cheerful or bright. When he's Tate, he has to wear that mask. As O'Byrne, he is more fiery and aloof.
