Baby Knows Gospel

Baby Knows Gospel

Baby Knows Gospel is for adults, who are children at heart, that like to receive wisdom in unconventional ways. This podcast utilizes all genres of modern and mature movies, music and stories revealing God where you would least expect God to be. Bringing the Bible to life anew through humanity’s contribution to existence. Welcome to ’Baby Knows Gospel’. In 1987 a film was released by the name “Dirty Dancing”, the storyline is about 2 characters whose paths cross at a resort. “Baby” the female lead falls In love with “Johnny” the resort’s dance instructor. Baby’s father objects to the relationship, but towards the end of the film Johnny approaches the family sitting at a dinner table, in the corner, as Johnny notable says “Nobody puts Baby in the corner.” as he reaches for her hand and pulls her away with him. How often have you been cornered? Whether through circumstances, people or sometimes we even put ourselves there. How often do you long for someone to reach out a hand to you in your empty place of burdens and in all honesty say, “I see you, come with me, I’m not leaving you here”. No matter how many corners this world has backed me into, God has extended His hand to me time and time again saying “Come”. I’ve found that as long as I know the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the true story of God, there isn’t anywhere this Baby can be put outside the power of God. I’d like to share that with you on this podcast. The power of knowing the Gospel. The power of being saved for eternal life. The power of accepting the calling from the one true living God who reigns forever. The God I know? He is Love and His kingdom has no end. The world may corner you and abandon you, but I know a God that will never leave you or forsake you, but will be with you always. Eternally.

    Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
