The City Council and EDA Meeting for Blaine, MN from October 6, 2025
Agenda items include a proclamation declaring October as National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the oath of office for City Manager Erik Thorvig, consideration of a conditional use permit request from Trustone Financial Group to build a bank, the first reading of an ordinance to rezone 8634 Central Ave., and an amendment to the sign ordinance allowing signs up to 50 feet along Highway 65. The council also accepted bids and awarded a contract to Fields Contracting for the 2025 Blaine Storm Outlet Project.
Agenda items for the EDA meeting include a resolution appointing the City Manager as Executive Director and the Interim Community Development Director as Deputy Executive Director of the EDA.
