They showed real promise with an impressive win against Carolina, led by Pastrnak’s incredible 5-point performance and a standout effort from Morgan Geekie. But any optimism was quickly crushed the next night in Buffalo, as Boston completely unraveled during yet another painful second period. Jeremy Swayman gave us brief moments of hope, but don’t be fooled—consistency just isn't there. The Bruins head to New Jersey Tuesday night to face a Devils squad looking to lock down their playoff spot. With New Jersey riding a three-game win streak, expect this one to get ugly fast.
