- Make sure you did Step 1 and 2
- Calligraphy tools are not expensive.
- Have the correct paper weight
- Choose the pen based on the style or script of Calligraphy
- Pen tip styles, chisel, pointed, small, medium and large
- Start with a notebook for practice
- Using a dip pen you’ll need more supplies
- Use a blotter
- Have a ring binder or paper accordian to save your work
- Date your best work
