Dezinformarea ecologică îi afectează pe consumatori. Natural, eco, prietenos cu mediul... Uniunea Europeană dorește să se asigure că toate aceste informaţii care apar pe etichetele produselor alimentare şi nealimentare sunt reale, iar practica de a da o impresie falsă cu privire la beneficiile sau impactul unui produs asupra mediului să fie interzisă. Directiva privind declaraţiile ecologice, care va fi votată în Parlamentul European în luna martie, va reglementa toate aceste aspecte. Uniunea Europeană va impune, astfel, companiilor să justifice afirmațiile privind protejarea mediului prin utilizarea unei metodologii standard.
Ce aşteptări au consumatorii de la Uniunea Europeană? Putem fi siguri că dacă cumpărăm un produs, care este vândut ca fiind ecologic, acesta este cu adevărat ecologic ? Este posibil ca dezinformarea ecologică să fie combătută?
