It's springtime in the world and there's no better time for a road trip movie! After a daring escape (aided by his roommate and living legend Bruce Dern), his path collides with another man on the run, Tyler, played by Shia LaBeouf (HOLES, TRANSFORMERS). This unlikely pair traverse the beaches and open roads of North Carolina's outer banks in the quest to fulfill Zak's lifelong dream of meeting his hero The Saltwater Redneck and becoming a professional wrestler. With a supporting performance by Dakota Johnson (50 SHADES OF GREY, MADAME WEB), THE PEANUT BUTTER FALCON explores what it means to be a family and lengths we'll go to find it.
