Hey Carpool Crew, it’s Pastor Justin — and today we’re talking about one of the best gifts God gives us: our friends! Friends make life brighter, funnier, and a whole lot more meaningful. They help us when we’re sad, forgive us when we mess up, and remind us of what God’s love really looks like in action.
In Proverbs 17:17, it says, “A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a difficult time.” True friendship isn’t just about fun or convenience — it’s about being there when life gets tough. In Bible times, friends were like family — people you could count on no matter what. That’s still what good friends are today.
In this episode, we’ll talk about why Jesus values friendship so much, how He called His disciples His friends, and how you can be the kind of friend who loves others the way Jesus loves you. You’ll also hear how a simple “thank you” or kind gesture can make a big difference in someone’s day.
