October 20th: Scared of Getting Called On in Class? | Kids Devotional Carpooling with Jesus

Hey Carpool Crew! 👋 Ever been sitting in class, minding your own business… and suddenly your name gets called? Your heart races, your face feels hot, and your brain freezes? Yeah — we’ve all been there.

In today’s episode, Pastor Justin talks about what to do when you get put on the spot and don’t know what to say. This is different from giving a speech — it’s that unexpected moment when everyone’s eyes are suddenly on you. 😳

We’ll look at James 1:5, where God promises to give us wisdom when we ask — and at the story of Peter walking on water (Matthew 14). When the pressure hit, Peter sank because he got distracted by fear — but Jesus didn’t let him drown. He reached out, pulled him up, and reminded him: You’re not alone.
