Hey carpool crew! đ Have you ever made a mistake that hurt someone you really care aboutâlike your parents, teacher, coach, or a close friend? That heavy feeling of disappointment can be tough, especially when you hear those words, âIâm not mad, just disappointed.â But todayâs episode of Carpooling with Jesus is here to remind you of something important: you are loved, even when you mess up.
Weâre continuing our October series, What Would Jesus Say About the Things That Scare Us?âand today, weâre talking about the fear of disappointing others. In Matthew 3:17, God says about Jesus, âThis is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.â And hereâs the amazing part: God said that before Jesus ever did a miracle, preached a sermon, or went to the cross. He was already fully lovedânot because of what He had done, but because of who He was. And thatâs true for you too.
You donât have to be perfect for Godâor your parentsâto be proud of you. When you make mistakes (and we all do!), the best thing you can do is be honest, say you're sorry, and remember that you're still loved. Todayâs devotional helps you walk through those hard moments with courage, humility, and grace.
đ Question of the Day: Whatâs something youâve done that made you feel badâbut God reminded you that you are still loved?
See you tomorrow for another episode of Carpooling with Jesus!
