September 15th: How to Stay Calm When You’re Angry | Kids Devotional Carpooling with Jesus

📖 Proverbs 15:1 (CSB) 👉 “A gentle answer turns away anger, but a harsh word stirs up wrath.”

💡 What does that mean? Solomon is teaching a simple but powerful truth:

• When someone’s angry and you yell back, you multiply the emotion

• When you stay calm, kind, or even silent, you cool things down

• You don’t have to match someone else’s anger—you can break the cycle

✅ In this episode, kids will learn:

• Why gentle words are stronger than loud arguments

2. Use words that cool things down, not stir things up

3. Remember: Sometimes silence or walking away is the wisest thing you can do
