I. Opening Monologue – “The Other Path”

Why the Left Hand?

In every sacred system—biblical, mystical, esoteric—the right hand represents order, favor, authority, and communion with God. The right hand is where Christ ascended to sit beside the Father. It’s the hand of blessing, of judgment, of righteous dominion.

But the left hand—throughout Scripture and spiritual tradition—is the hand of judgment, secrecy, separation, and curse.

In Hebrew, the right hand (yamin) is aligned with strength, while the left (s’mol) represents concealment, shadow, and inversion. The Song of Solomon even plays on this duality: “His left hand is under my head, and his right hand embraces me”—symbolizing mystery and manifest presence.

Lucifer and Cain chose the left hand because it represents autonomy in the shadows—the place where one rules outside of divine favor. It is the hand of hidden power, the hand that does not bless, but seizes. In Kabbalah, it corresponds to Gevurah—severity, judgment, restriction—divorced from the balancing mercy of Chesed (right side).

In Indian Tantra, the Vāmācāra (Left-Hand Path) is the route of forbidden rites, transgression, taboo-breaking. Blood. Sex. Death. Ritual inversion. These aren’t accidents—they are tools designed to bypass mercy and hack the system through force.

The left hand is the hand of the thief.

It is the hand that reaches for what has not been given.

Cain offered from the work of his own hands. Not the prescribed blood. Not the way of submission. He reached out with his own hand—and when it was rejected, he killed. That hand—the left hand—became the symbol of an alternative priesthood. One not of covenant, but conquest.

The Left-Hand Path is not simply “the bad road.” It is the road of those who say:

  • “I will rise by my own breath.”
  • “I will take what heaven denies.”
  • “I will be as God—not through grace, but through rebellion.”

It is the spiritual hand that draws the circle. It is the hand that raises the knife. It is the hand that signs the pact.

And ultimately, it is the hand that builds the throne apart from God… even if that throne ends in ashes.

The ambitious sorcerer rejects the natural limitations of man, especially regarding death and fate.

He seeks, through ritual, to suspend divine order, commanding spirits, rewriting nature, and overriding his created essence.

The blood, though not emphasized in this rationalist text, is implied as central in references to compacts with the devil, summoning of the dead, and sacrilegious arts—all historically known to include blood rites.

Many necromancers became “dupes of their own machinery,” indicating that once the contract is made, it alters the practitioner permanently—not only mentally, but spiritually. The necromancer becomes the property of the spirits he once commanded.

Ritual is not performance—it is an act of genetic and registry transmutation. The soul’s record is rewritten, the breath signature re-aligned, and the practitioner enrolled in a new line. And often, as I’ve already argued, this inheritance is transmissible—spiritually or biologically.

This self-divinization is the esoteric engine of blood corruption: the ritual inversion of natural alignment, often via communion with daemonic or anti-cosmic forces. One quote from the text encapsulates it: “The left-hand path involves breaking the boundaries established by nature and society—not in service to others, but to achieve personal godhood”
