565 // Obeying God Fully: Why Almost Obedience Isn’t Enough (Bible Study and Devotional)

Hey Sis! 🎙️

Today’s episode is a call to refocus our hearts and recognize the power of gratitude and obedience in our walk with Christ. We’re closing out Matthew 16:24–27, reflecting on what it really means to deny ourselves, take up our cross, and follow Jesus. From surrendering our comfort to gaining the true life He promises, we’re reminded that nothing this world offers is worth the cost of our soul. Jesus’ words challenge us to examine where our priorities lie and invite us to live with eternity in view.

We’re also stepping into Day 5 of What It Means to Obey God by John Bevere, where we see that partial obedience isn’t obedience at all. King Saul’s story reminds us how easy it is to lean on our own wisdom, but Jesus models perfect faithfulness—even to the point of the cross. As we fix our eyes on Him, we’re strengthened to finish what God calls us to with endurance and joy. This episode will encourage you to not only begin in obedience but to complete it, trusting that God’s reward is far greater than anything this world can offer.
