At times in our life we can get comfortable in the safe zone. We keep risks low and remain unchallenged. Truth is, the growth happens in the deep-end and we don't have to do it alone. When Jesus steps into the boat we are challenged to go into the deep-end and into uncharted waters. He invites us to walk with him as we go "Against All Odds."

At times in our life we identify with things that we would like to redo. We allow our identity to be wrapped around our past mistakes, failures or times we missed the mark. Jesus wipes the slate clean and identifies us as righteous by His sacrifice on the cross, by His Grace and Mercy. We are who God says we are.

It's easy to be thankful for all the good things that happen and go our way in life. It's easy to be thankful when things are going great. It is another level of spiritual maturity when we can thank God when He says "No, not yet", or for the unanswered prayer. Can we thank God for ALL things?

Happiness has always been a constant pursuit and highly sought out for. Unfortunately the target is always moving. When Jesus is the source we can experience happiness and the inexpressible joy of the Lord. Ending the pursuit of happiness is the beginning of the relationship with the Lord.

Should good things only happen to good people and bad things happen to bad people? In "Bend But Don't Break" we look at how Jesus responds to the belief that bad things happen to only those who miss the mark and how misleading it is along with the implications.
We learn from Jesus' interaction with the woman suffering from the spirit of infirmity mentioned in Luke 13:10-17.

In John 5:1-15, we learn from a man that was ill for 38 yrs until Jesus notices him and his condition. Before he heals him he asked him, "Do you want to be made well?" Jesus not only healed his external infirmity but also his soul internally.
We get accustomed to things being just the way they are that we don't see a better way. Jesus wants to heal us completely making us whole. Jesus is the Way the Truth and the Life and provides ...
In Pt.2 of the series On My Way, we see how Saul's plans were divinely interrupted by the Lord and how God met him in the middle of the road headed to Damascus. Saul later learned that God's plans were greater.
When God is at work in our life it looks messy in the middle. As we stay faithful we see that God is willing to meet us where we are and give us the strength to make it in the middle.

In closing to the series "Navigating Overseas", we hope to see in ourselves and in others what Jesus sees in all of us. Shame and condemnation narrows our perspective as we overlook God's will for us. The scenario doesn't have to change when we see what Jesus sees.

In My Father’s House Pt.3, John 2:13-22. God has always desired to dwell among us. Since sin caused a separation, God has attempted to bridge the gap. We were designed originally to dwell in God’s presence, destined to dwell with God and through Jesus we are invited to dwell in personal relationship.
