Can a bad dad be a good detective?

A hard-boiled investigator, Boyle is drawn into a harrowing case after finding the body of someone he initially believes is his estranged son, only to uncover a tangled web of betrayal, the criminal underworld, and dark magic. Story Summary:

Setting: A rainy metropolis filled with intrigue, from crime scenes to decrepit neighborhoods like "The Depths."

• Detective Boyle Son is thrust into a personal and professional crisis when his estranged son is murdered. As the investigation deepens, Boyle discovers ties to a criminal organization known as the Wolf Clan, led by the enigmatic Vladimir the Wolf.
• Challenge: Navigate the gritty underworld, face personal guilt, and unravel a web of deceit tied to a powerful artifact capable of rewriting reality.

1. The Crime Scene:

   • [00:04:00] - Boyle surveys the crime scene, uncovering signs of a struggle and learning that the victim was strangled after a violent fight. A cryptic message in blood adds emotional weight.

2. Interrogation of Sarianne:

   • [00:09:00] - Boyle questions Sarianne, his secret mistress and the victim's mother, who provides crucial clues about the Wolf Clan’s involvement.

3. Meeting with Marty:

   • [00:18:00] - Boyle seeks information from Marty, a shady informant who reveals the Wolf Clan’s hideout in "The Depths" and hints at a dangerous deal involving the mayor.

4. Infiltrating the Depths:

   • [00:30:00] - Boyle, Hilda (his loyal partner), and Chip Chip (a skilled marksman) descend into The Depths, a treacherous and decaying part of the city. They devise a plan to distract the gang while Boyle sneaks into their hideout.

5. Confrontation with the Wolf Clan:

   • [00:42:00] - Boyle faces off against Legs, a fearsome enforcer, and is captured. In a shocking twist, Boyle learns his son faked his death to orchestrate a power play within the Wolf Clan.

Climax:

• [00:56:00] - The Wolf Clan leader uses an artifact containing a powerful wish spell. In a desperate attempt to intervene, Boyle lunges for the artifact but fails. The spell is cast, erasing Boyle from existence and rewinding time to before he was born, leaving the world to spiral into chaos without him.
