003 - Marinduque - Edges (Live Session) - 00:08:15 - Thur - 5.05 – 5.50 - Marinduque is a four-piece folk rock band that fronted by Clarke Lear and supported by Jonny Winter, Rebecca Hall and George Borg. Each song carries a story, reminiscence or feeling our lives, ranging from lamenting the socioeconomic decline of your hometown, the vulnerability of being queer back home, or watching the same Adam Sandler film on repeat during a ferry ride.

Drawing inspiration from schlock-horror B-movies, they pitch a sound that sits somewhere between Killing Joke and T-Rex, but they could never be accused of taking themselves too seriously!
005 - Victory Samosa - Built Like A Runner - 00:19:40 - Thur - 7.20 – 8.10 - Victory Samosa are a three piece rock and roll band from York consisting of Will Evans, Ed Sutherland and Louis Edge. The band formed in York in December 2022 and immediately set about making a name for themselves around the city, building a dedicated following by playing shows at local venues like The Crescent and The Fulford Arms as well as The Cavern Club in Liverpool and Beatherder Festival. The band have also been mentioned on BBC Radio 6 Music with Huw Stephens declaring; “Great Name”! The band span multiple genres throughout their energetic performances to form a satisfying mix of memorable pop hooks with an emphasis on tightly honed writing and harmonies. Merging classic and contemporary influences including Talking Heads, The Beatles, Bruce Springsteen, Arctic Monkeys and Blossoms, the band is known for their high-energy live shows and catchy songs that have already become firm favourites on the York music scene.

008 - Peter & Jules - TITLE UNKNOWN - 00:40:21 - Fri - 2.00 – 2.40 - We’re an Indian instrument duo who reside on the edge of the Calder Valley and the Rochdale Valley respectively, and we play covers and original tunes on sitar and tabla drums. We also have scope to venture into a fusion of Indian folk music, electronica, dance, and British folk music.
