If you're a coach-in-training, a freshly certified practitioner, or simply someone who feels stuck between wanting to help and fearing you’re not “ready” yet, this episode is for you. You probably have a lot of questions about how to find clients, how to talk about your coaching, and whether it’s okay to charge for your services yet.

As a coach educator, mentor and supervisor, I have worked with many coaches navigating these exact challenges. In this episode, I share honest, practical advice based on experience. Just the things that work.

It is ok to be new. Being clear and transparent builds trust more than pretending to be an expert ever will.

You’ll hear about:

  • Ways to collect evidence of your skills, even early in your training;
  • How to introduce yourself and your coaching authentically and ethically, with practical examples of phrases you can use;
  • How to deal with rejection and why that’s not about you personally;
  • Using CustDev interviews to connect and really understand what your future clients need;
  • Practical ways to set your fees and offer packages that make sense for you and your clients.

If this episode helped, share it with a fellow coach who's in the same boat.

The Brothers Ortiz

The Brothers Ortiz

The Brothers Ortiz is the story of two brothers–both successful, but in very different ways. Gabe Ortiz becomes a third-highest ranking officer in all of Texas while his younger brother Larry climbs the ranks in Puro Tango Blast, a notorious Texas Prison gang. Gabe doesn’t know all the details of his brother’s nefarious dealings, and he’s made a point not to ask, to protect their relationship. But when Larry is murdered during a home invasion in a rented beach house, Gabe has no choice but to look into what happened that night. To solve Larry’s murder, Gabe, and the whole Ortiz family, must ask each other tough questions.
