"Why are you here?" the question Dr. Travis Thompson would ask anyone who would come into his practice for help. If someone wants to talk about embracing a different gender from which he or she was born, the question remains the same. Not all licensed clinicians will even engage in that much conversation before signing off on life-changing surgery. Is there a conversation that can be helpful with our young children?
