Ep 28 | Anni Dewani

Anni Dewani was murdered in November 2010 while on her honeymoon in South Africa with her husband, Shrien Dewani. The couple was in Cape Town when their taxi was allegedly hijacked by two gunmen. Shrien was released unharmed, but Anni was later found shot dead in the abandoned vehicle. Investigations revealed a murder-for-hire plot, with evidence suggesting that Shrien had orchestrated the killing with local conspirators. However, after a high-profile trial, Shrien was acquitted due to insufficient evidence, while the hired gunmen and the taxi driver were convicted. The case remains controversial....
