Während ihres Aufenthaltes im Künstlerresidenzprogramm STEAM Imaging von Fraunhofer MEVIS schuf die Medienkünstlerin Eli Joteva eine bemerkenswerte Installation: Um an das Material für ihr digitales Kunstwerk zu kommen, legte sich die Bulgarin stundenlang in einen MRT-Scanner. Das Resultat ist die digitale Installation „IntraBeing“. Ausgangspunkt der Residenz ist es, Künstler mit Wissenschaftler:innen und Schüler:innen zusammen zu bringen, um Grenzen einzelner Disziplinen zu überwinden, flexible Formen des Lernens und der Zusammenarbeit zu entwickeln und Fähigkeiten zu vermitteln, effektiv und kritisch mit neuen Technologien umzugehen.
