In Fürstenwalde an der Spree gibt es viele Highlights auf kurzen Wegen zu entdecken: der imposante Dom mit der größten Orgel Brandenburgs oder die Spreepromenade. Im Museum Fürstenwalde habe ich mit dem Leiter Guido Strohfeldt gesprochen und erfahren, dass Fürstenwalder Seezeichen in der ganzen Welt bekannt sind. Ein Selfie mit dem Leuchtturm davor ist bei einem Besuch Pflicht. Im historischen Gewölbekeller des Alten Rathauses befindet sich das beeindruckende Brauereimuseum. Dort erzählte mir Bernd Norkeweit, Vorsitzender der Brau-Freunde e.V., von der langen Brautradition der Stadt und warum man auch in Japan das Fürstenwalder Bier bestens kennt.
