Da hun ble skilt, opplevde hun og barna en økonomisk ruin. På søken etter meningen med livet kom hun inn i det alternative, og ble oppslukt av dette. Men så hørte hun sanger på You Tube som gjorde inntrykk, og fikk etter hvert en ny start …
Hege hadde en god start på livet. Men når foreldrene ble skilt, fikk hun etter en tid en stefar, og et langvarig misbruk startet. Hun begynte å eksperimentere med rus, men fikk så en sønn, som i stor grad reddet henne.
