Star Trek: Voyager Season 3 Episodes 8 & 9 "Future's End Parts 1 and 2" explained. Join me as I review and recap the two parter that tries to recapture the magic of Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home and fails miserably. The "present day" LA doesn't feel like present day, it's too goofy and cheesy, it feels like something dreamed up by studio execs who are out of touch with modern culture. And the dialog seems like it was written by boomers who don't understand how young people talk. And the jokes mostly don't land. And the time travel logic makes absolutely no sense, so the plot is a giant mess. And Ed Begley Jr. may be a good actor but was totally miscast for this role. But hey, at least Sarah Silverman is good in this episode. Come see my first reaction as I breakdown the episode and attempt to give my in depth analysis
