Welcome to The Beat of Hope, presented by Endless Hope Inc.

(00:04):
Today is Juneteenth โ€” a day we honor not just history, but legacy.
A day we celebrate freedom โ€” long delayed, but never denied.
On June 19,1865,two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed,
freedom finally reached the last enslaved people in Galveston,

(00:24):
Texas.
That moment became a heartbeat in Black history โ€” a sound that echoes through generations.
To me, Juneteenth is personal.
It reminds me that healing is more than just physical โ€” itโ€™s generational.
As someone who lives with a donated heart,I understand what it means to carry a gift from another soul.
And as a Black man,I also carry the strength, the scars,

(00:48):
and the survival of those who came before me.
Juneteenth reminds us that our freedom came at a cost โ€” and that we are the legacy of resilience.
So today, take a moment to reflect.
To give thanks.
To celebrate.
Freedom is not just about the past โ€” itโ€™s about what we do with it today.
How we raise our families.

(01:09):
How we tell our stories.
How we honor our ancestors by walking in purpose, in hope, and in love.
This is The Beat of Hope, and today, our hearts beat with gratitude for those who made freedom possibleโ€ฆ and for those still fighting to protect it.
Thank you for listening.
If this touched your heart, share it.

(01:29):
Let someone know they are part of something powerful.
New episodes drop every Tuesday and Thursday at 6 AM EST.
Letโ€™s keep healing, together.
And on this Juneteenth, may we all feel a little more free.
