Most of us are familiar with California - the land of sunshine, palm trees, and dreams. It's where stars are born, and where many chase the glittering promise of fame. Among them was Jasmine Fiore, a striking young woman with high ambitions. She wasn’t just a pretty face—Jasmine was an aspiring model and a savvy businesswoman, determined to carve out her place in the spotlight. For a time, her journey took her to Las Vegas, a city equally known for its dazzle and danger. It was there that she crossed paths with Ryan Jenkins. Their connection was instant and electric. Within just days of meeting, they decided to marry. Ryan, a Canadian-born real estate developer, had just wrapped filming a reality TV show for VH1, riding his own wave of fast-earned fame. But the relationship was definitely not the fairytale it appeared to be on the outside. Their relationship was full of many arguments that at times, turned physical. After a trip to San Diego in August 2009, Jasmine was discovered, brutally murdered. There had also been evidence of an attempt to cover up her identification. Eyes quickly turned to Ryan, but he had fled, no where to be found. As the investigation continued, the detectives uncovered a history of abuse as well as surveillance videos to help solve the case. However, no one could have prepared themselves for the way this case would end.
