Back in 2011, then 27-year-old, Michelina Lewandowska was living the life she had wanted. She had a wonderful three-year-old son and a partner who she loved so deeply; and he loved her just as much. Or so, she thought. But Michelina soon learned that her belief that he loved her as deeply as she loved him, couldn’t be further from the truth. Marcin Kasprzak, Michelina’s fiancé, had bound, gagged and tasered her before putting her in the trunk of a car to be driven to a remote area. But what happened next defies belief: Michelina was buried alive in a shallow grave – and left to die. But somehow, hidden beneath the dirt was a woman whose strength and determination allowed her to do the impossible; she survived. This is the story of a woman who refused to be silenced, even by the weight of the earth itself. Michelina’s story is one of terror, tragedy but also inspiration. This story is that of a love turned evil and the story of a woman who literally clawed her way out of the grave to take back her life. So, tune in for this shorter episode. This is not just true crime. This is survival. This is the story of the survival of Michelina Lewandowska.
