(00:18):
Hi.
All right, here we go.
Welcome to the very first episode of Fierce and Funny.
If you're here, congratulations.
You've officially made an questionable life choice, and we fully support it.
This is where sarcasm is our love language, opinions are unfiltered, and common sense isfinally making a comeback.
We'll be saying what everyone is thinking and but with a little extra spice.

(00:43):
Expect bold takes, unexpected twists, and a lot of laughter, whether it's at the world, orourselves, or each other.
So sit back, relax, and prepare to be entertained, slightly offended, or both.
No refunds, no regrets.
So let's do this.
Krista, tell us about yourself.

(01:03):
Hi, I am Krista, obviously.
I am 46 years old.
I am currently married to my husband, Jay Z.
We've been married currently, right?
Second marriage, right?
Currently is good.
Yeah.
We'll be married six years in May and we have a total of four kids together.
I have two boys and he has a boy and a girl.

(01:26):
I work full time.
work
at home remotely and I am home all the time with my dog.
He's my coworker and I'm happy to be doing this with you guys.
Danny?
Hi, I'm Danielle Miller.
I go by Danny.
I'm a Colorado spring girl born and raised.
I'm the oldest of three sisters.

(01:49):
Tara and Erica are my younger sisters, although they like to act like they are older thanI am.
I'm the mom to three awesome grown boys and the Mimi to two amazing human beings, Asherand Blake.
I've been married to my amazing husband for six years.
His name is Mike and he is six years younger than I am.
Go me.
Yes.

(02:10):
I've been in the hospitality world for 25 years.
I am currently unemployed and looking for a job.
After 16 years as an Air Force spouse, I have a very close-knit, small group of womenfriends who have been my friends my whole entire life.
And if you're lucky enough to be a part of that circle, you're pretty great.

(02:32):
And I love Jesus.
All right.
And I am Jennifer.
am born and raised in Pittsburgh, moved to Sarasota 13, 14 years ago now, I guess.
Found my husband.
I have a cat mom, a step mom, and a grandma, JJ.
My husband and I also do a podcast, Reasonable Arguments, come find us.

(02:55):
And I was lucky enough to find these two girls here in Sarasota.
And oddly enough, we probably share the same opinions about a lot of stuff, which is whywe're here.
don't keep it hidden.
We do not keep it hidden.
All right, Danny, you want to start us off today?
This today we've chosen three topics that won't be the same topic every single week.

(03:18):
But today my topic is true crime or kind of current current crime.
And my my topic is about James Craig.
It's a 46 year old dentist from Aurora, Colorado, who killed his wife via cyanide.
He drove his wife to the hospital because she was feeling dizzy and he was

(03:39):
you know, I'm so sorry, I don't know what's wrong with you.
And five hours later, she died.
He had cyanide rushed to his house.
I always wonder what that looks like, like, hey, Siri, can you order me some cyanide andget it here tomorrow?
Yeah, he had it rushed delivered.

(04:01):
On Amazon Prime, he had it delivered a rush.
He's telling his business partners that
He needed it for some sort of surgery that he was doing at his dental practice.
Yeah, so it's a crazy twist.
And then there's one more little twist.
There's one more little twist to this story.
He tried to do a murder for hire through his cellmate, which maybe he was giving orgetting a cavity filled at that time.

(04:31):
It brings a whole new meaning of cavity filling when you're in prison, I guess.
But he was trying to hire somebody to kill the lead detective.
And he was going to pay this person $20,000.
I'm like, dude, you can't even get divorced for $20,000.
How are you going to get somebody to kill you for $20,000, or your wife, or a detective, especially?

(04:54):
So instead of this Dennis poisoning with problem, we've got James.
We've got James Craig, who was married for 23 years.
He has six children.
I guess we don't really know why other than maybe she was late for scheduling her sixmonth cleaning.
I don't know.
But I'd like to see him floss his way out of this one.

(05:15):
Didn't it say he'd poison her through a protein shake?
Yeah, that's the other thing, you know, don't try to be too healthy, especially don't letyour husband make protein shakes for you.
He...
Well, he used, he also used, he also used a chemical that's found in an over counter eyedrops that he put in there that made her, I guess, really, really sick.

(05:41):
like diarrhea, shits like it makes you really ill.
I don't even understand.
Why don't people just get divorced?
I tell Jamie that.
I think I've told both my husbands that.
Sorry, one ex-husband, my current husband.
No, no.
God, please.

(06:01):
I can't, I can't.
But.
One's enough.
yeah, I mean, like if you don't like me anymore, if you meet someone else, just tell meI'll I'll go away.
And, you know, Jamie's always one that he watches the, you know, the all the mystery showsit like from the get go.
And and I said something about, know, if you ever decide to kill me, you better wait untilmy mother's dead because, you know, she'll she'll take you out.

(06:26):
Right.
And his response to me, he says, alligator digest bone just like that.
Yeah, in his cool Florida Southern accent.
we were already married, so there wasn't anything I could do at that point, but.
Yeah, so I just think how dumb are these I mean this guy's a dentist so clearly he isn'tthat dumb but to poison your wife via Rushed cyanide and and then try to kill a detective

(06:57):
while you're in prison like do you think you have some expectation of privacy?
I'm gonna write a letter hire somebody have it sent out.
Do they read the mail right?
I just think how dumb can you be?
It just, mean, especially in this day and age.
mean, nobody gets away with anything.
You're going to kill the lead detective.
You don't, you think, okay, we're done now.

(07:18):
We're never going to look at these other cases because the lead detective's now dead.
I mean.
Yeah, yeah, I don't know.
In six kids?
How old are the kids?
I didn't say I was scouring around to look, but they were married for 23 years, so they'renot that old, because he's only 45.
Yeah, and his wife is 43.

(07:38):
And apparently he had tried to poison her in a previous, like a couple of years ago, because he was going to commit suicide.
And I'm like, girl, did that raise a red flag for you at all?
Like, you didn't think that now's my time, I should probably leave?
He's poisoning me, and he's suicidal?
Let's get him committed and vominoes.
You know, I don't...

(08:00):
Yeah.
That's for sure.
I wonder who's rooting his canal now.
God.
Everybody in jail has white teeth.
Take that however you want.

(08:22):
gosh, yeah.
So, only in Colorado.
I don't think you've heard that many Florida stories yet, then we'll get it.
Yeah, we'll get into those for sure.
Yeah, so that was my true crime, even though, you know, it's not super exciting.

(08:42):
I just thought, this guy's really, really dumb.
really makes you, and it always amazes me.
And I'll be honest with you, there's times when I'll sit there and look at Jamie like, ishe just gonna snap one day?
I mean, you're together for 23 years.
What makes it that day that it's like, okay, I'm done and I'm gonna become this crazyperson and have Prime send cyanide?

(09:10):
You
I don't know, but I guess women do.
mean, there's a whole show called Women Who Snap, right?
Isn't there a whole?
Yeah.
Plus you go through menopause, which is another weird thing.
You go through menopause and you just do want to kill somebody for dropping a wrapper onthe ground or whatever makes you mad that day.
Like, you know, I'm fine one minute and then I'm like, yesterday at Costco, I'm trying topull in this guy behind me, honking his horn so loudly.

(09:40):
And I'm like, can you see how I need to back up?
Because this person can't get out unless I back up.
And he's still just laying on the I put my car in park.
I get out and I'm like, back up, back up.
So I can see why people snap.
I wanted to like wring his neck.
And my husband is sitting in the car like this.
Yeah

(10:01):
Mike was in the car.
my God.
And so I can see why people snap.
Well, you're like my mother.
My mother will lose her mind over people who don't return carts to the cart area.
so lazy.
it right next to the cart area.
Like, it's ridiculous.
I agree, I agree, but in this day and age, like you gotta be careful.

(10:24):
I mean, you start walking towards someone's car and they're shooting you.
I mean, especially in Florida.
mean, it's a, yeah.
Well, that's gonna help when a bullet's coming at you.
So, good.
Good.
just do now think about it, but yeah, you can see, speaking of snapping, you can see whypeople snap.

(10:46):
But he probably had another side hustle or something.
He's probably got a younger girl on the side, you know, kind of thing.
Not anymore.
Yeah, very true.
children have no mom and no dad, however old they are.
Yeah.
think.
It's so selfish.
It's just so selfish to do, I mean, she should have known better.

(11:10):
Well, like you said, sometimes you stay together for the kids.
Yeah.
What do you got, Krista?
Well, I found an article about why people are naming bugs, rats, and cats after their exeson Valentine's Day.
Speaking of true crime.

(11:31):
conversation about exes on Sunday, right?
And this article popped up.
And this was based out of Anchorage, Alaska.
mean, I'm sure there are not a lot of exes up there.
Yeah, they're just going to name exes after bugs and rodents up there.
So basically, I guess it's like a trend for animal shelters and zoos around the countrythat are encouraging people getting revenge on their exes.

(11:57):
Like it's a healthy type of revenge.
and raising money for a cause, which is also a good thing.
So you get a little revenge and you raise money for animals.
And you can name basically bugs or rodents or critters that are being fed to their animalsat the zoo.
Jesus.

(12:19):
So rather than using cyanide to poison your spouse, you should just go have them fed tothe lions at the...
Yes!
So like they were talking about, you would like this, Jen.
So they were saying that options are, include naming a feral cat after your ex before it'sneutered.

(12:42):
That's great.
or giving rodents or cockroaches your ex's name before feeding them the bigger animals, like hissing cockroaches.
So this one lady said that she didn't want to have her ex named after a hissing cockroachsince they're pesky rodents and you can't get rid of them.
So she doesn't want that bad omen where she can't say, I'm gonna name this cockroach thatyou can't get rid of and then now her ex won't go away.

(13:09):
So she didn't wanna do that.
Karma.
Yeah.
I do that.
So basically there was a love hurts fundraiser at a bird treatment and learning center inAnchorage, Alaska.
And she donated a hundred dollars to name a frozen dead rat after her ex.

(13:35):
And it was fed to a resident raptor at the facility.
So basically she thought that the donation was a gift to herself, of course, which is goodtherapy, I guess.
And it seemed like a good way to give back, because the money went to the bird sanctuary.

(13:56):
right, yeah.
So the money went back to the facility and they had got enough money to rehab 580 birdslast year.
They raised $18,000.
But of course they don't publicize last names of the exes, is, you know, that's smart.
And with the money, they send you a video of them feeding the animal.

(14:24):
So, yes.
So for example, they have a video of a snowy owl that swallows a whole rat.
my God.
And then also they have a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a,

(14:48):
I think they need more therapists than Alaska.
I'll say, yeah.
Holy cow.
donate that much money, can donate $10 to name a mealworm after your ex and it's fed to acrow or a magpie.
And then it's posted on social media.
So it's not as personal, but you still get a little therapy after that.

(15:12):
concept for raising money, right?
I mean, all those places are nonprofits and they have to beg, borrow, and steal moneyhowever they can.
And they are good causes.
I think that is hysterical and so creative.
Well done to their marketing team.
Yeah.
right?
There's two other things where they do, like if you're happily coupled with somebody, likeyou can send it to a friend, your best friend, your husband, whoever.

(15:37):
There's a, you can donate $10 and it's called dating or dumping and they send your lovedone a video of a red panda eating a grape, which is super cute.
Or if you have a nemesis that you do not like, this is great.
There's a lot of people I don't like, so I think this is a great idea.

(15:58):
They get a digital card, and they also get a video of an elephant taking a poop.
And it's signed with Scent with Love and Scent is spelled S-C-E-N-T Scent with Love.
Yes.
So that's great.
And I was going to ask you ladies not to like name any axes in particular, but what kindof rodent, what kind of, what would you want to see?

(16:28):
what, I would want to see a rodent being swallowed by a boa constrictor, you know, whereit just gobbles it up and then it just.
I'll go back to the alligator, know, where they digest bones.
You can take that however you want it.
That's funny though, I love that.

(16:50):
mean, that wasn't even an option.
What's gonna eat a snake?
Yeah.
that falcon, huh?
I want that.
I want that.
I want a snake with a falcon just ripping it apart.
That's for all of them.
I'm not even naming names.
I'm just going with full board all of them.
Yeah.

(17:12):
Except the ones I'm still friends with.
Not you.
Not you.
want to send something to that guy driving the car yesterday at Costco but I'm not surewhat I would send him yet yeah in his car yeah yeah that's funny
God.
People, mean, but I get it, I get it.
It's funny.
But I mean, I hope these people eventually move on from harboring these.

(17:35):
way from, you used to be able to buy stars and planets for you too.
Now you can buy rodents and poop.
Yeah, think I did one for like a snow leopard from my mom one year for Christmas orsomething.
Yeah, so stupid, but I mean, we got to.
a highway for somebody, like you could name a highway after somebody.

(17:57):
Yeah, that's a great idea.
people just love that.
Anyway, anything that has to do with animals, I'll guarantee you animal shelters raisemore money than human shelters.
People just, they have an, they love animals, they love all the things and whatever theycan do to help the animals in the zoo.
I used to work for a zoo for eight years, Zoo Boise.
And the people, the amount of money that flowed into that place is just incredible.

(18:20):
So people love animals.
they're not, yeah, they will eat you, most of them, but yeah.
do.
Yeah.
Lily, she's a four-year-old chocolate lab, she talks back.
She thinks you...
Yeah, they rule the roost.
Yeah.
Yeah.
cats, which I don't even know how we're even friends.

(18:41):
bullshit.
She's not allergic to them.
She hates them.
She just outright hates them.
them.
Yeah, I'm not, but I've always been very upfront with you.
I've never once given you any false hope that I'm gonna love your cat as much as you do.
But I would never be mean to them.
I just don't like cats.
They're gross.
The only good cat is that cat.
I would feed the cat too, so.

(19:05):
Sorry.
my God.
Wait until my mother hears this.
She gives me so much trouble.
I love it.
I love to get under her skin.
my God, that was terrible.
Yeah, honestly.
My mom's gonna be like, did she really just say that?

(19:28):
And then she's gonna call me and be like, why are you friends with her?
I hope I'm the favorite friend then now.
You probably always were.
I'll be like, mom, Danny would take me in in a hurricane.
Yes, exactly.
Speaking of getting fed animals, yeah, yes, I would definitely do that.

(19:50):
Not make you stay in the garage.
That's funny.
well, are you done, Krista?
All good?
All right, so I am going to talk about Dan Bongino.
Yay.
yeah, right?
And so this is our political portion of the, news portion of the podcast, but you know,it's funny.

(20:15):
I've watched this guy and you of course I'm on board with him.
He's loud, he's proud, he's, you know, he's saying everything that we're saying.
But when I started to research him, like listen to this resume.
So he is,
He started as a real deal secret service agent for President Bush and Obama.

(20:38):
And, you know, one of the things with secret services, you're supposed to be quiet, right?
Like you don't, you don't talk about this kind of stuff.
Well, when he left the service in 2011, he went straight into spilling the tea abouteverything about, especially about the so-called deep state.
And so after leaving that, he decided to run for office three times.

(20:59):
So he, he ran for the Senate in 2012.
He ran for House of Representatives in 2014 and 2016.
Lost them all.
No, lost them all.
And yeah, so this is where he decides...
Well, it, yeah.
vocal and say what he wants to say.

(21:20):
Yeah.
And he's not polished, right?
He's not he's not that kind of guy.
So instead of instead of, you know, sulking away and not doing anything about it, that'swhen he's like, you know, why work in the government when you can yell about it?
And that's when he created his show, the Dan Bongino show.
So his niche and his conservative conservative media is loud, always right in a deep lovehate.

(21:50):
deep love hate relationship with the FBI, which is funny because now he's the deputydirector, right?
But this cracks me up.
The next one, he actually got booted off of YouTube.
He's banned from YouTube because during COVID, they said he was spreading COVIDmisinformation, which was probably the truth now that we know, right?

(22:14):
But they kicked him off.
So then he became the king of rumble.
I had no idea.
And then I started thinking, yeah.
And then I started thinking, where am I watching most of his videos?
But it's probably TikTok.
So they probably seen it on TikTok.
But then he said, getting off of YouTube was actually almost like marketing.

(22:39):
Like him being canceled was like free marketing for him.
He is actually more popular than.
any mainstream or like mainstream media shows at all, which is crazy.
Yeah.
So so now we know that Trump has made him the deputy director, which I mean, he's beentrash in the FBI for years.

(23:01):
So, you know, is this a good thing?
So, I mean, I can only think that because I know there's been many jobs that I've left andbeen like, you know, this place runs like shit.
They don't care.
They don't do whatever.
And if I ever had the opportunity to run it, I would do it completely different and makeit great, right?
We all say that.

(23:22):
I mean, is this what we can expect from this guy?
Yes.
with Cash Patel, the two of them are really gonna kick butt and take names.
I really believe that.
I think this is just so good for our country.
And they're unapologetic, they're not ashamed.
They know what this constitution stands for, they know what this country stands for andwhat it was built on.

(23:43):
And I believe in my heart that that is their goal and that is what they are gonna do.
And heads need to roll.
I agree.
And Jamie and I talked about it on our last podcast where, you know, we like I broke downthe 9-11 9-11 attack, JFK and Epstein.
you know, Cash Patel has already said in his interview that when the stuff that he hasalready seen about specifically 9-11 comes out, he said people are going to be pissed off.

(24:15):
There's going to be pissed off people and
hope we have the heart.
I hope we have the balls to just stick with these people.
Like you already see some flailing around about Doge and all the things.
I just hope that the American people can stick with it and let them uncover all of thisstuff.
But do they have enough guts to take down senators and congresspeople?

(24:38):
And you know, I just, I really pray that they do.
Well, and here's the thing.
mean, we're what, 35 days in?
How many days are we in in this administration?
Right?
I just had a conversation, debate, whatever you want to call it, with a friend about, youknow, Elon sending out the things about, know, you got to tell me what you're doing every

(25:02):
day.
You know, corporate America, you have to do that.
Like, that's a given.
You can't just go about your work for years on end and never let anybody know what you'redoing.
Yeah.
yeah, especially since you work from home, especially.
it's like, and one of the things that she was specifically talking about was the VA, theVA hospitals and you know, the nurses are.

(25:27):
we all know it's completely broken.
Absolutely.
And I tried telling her, I'm like, you know, why not look at this as a positive?
Like, yes, it's completely invasive.
It's infuriating that you have to do this now after how many years of being not.
I don't want to say being held accountable.
I don't want to say that because I don't want to accuse anybody of not doing their job,but of not having to report back what you're doing, right?

(25:54):
And then you have specifically the VA health system, which is horrible to our vets.
Why would you not want, and the argument was, is how is IT gonna fix this?
How do they know about healthcare?
I can tell you from my point of view and being in healthcare for as long as I've been anddoing different offices

(26:14):
and taking things over.
IT is part of all of that.
They are part of all of that.
that's how they run everything.
Their EMR systems and all that.
That's how they run healthcare.
IT knows all of it.
I took a little break from hospitality during COVID or right when COVID started and I wasa practice manager at a cardiology office that shall not be named.

(26:39):
everything was so antiquated in there.
They were paying two different internet bills for two different companies.
They had files and files and files like rooms and rooms and rooms and stacks and stacks offiles.
This is where IT comes in.
This is what they do.
And it's a well-known fact to touch on your point.
It's a well-known fact.

(27:00):
Being around the military as long as I have that, and this is not a diss on anyone who'sever in the military, but they do their 20 years and they serve and we're really thankful
and grateful for that.
But then they go right into the public service sector and they do nothing.
Yeah.

(27:22):
Right.
Now they are.
bushy and moaning when they fired all these people on the pipeline?
Did anybody complain about that?
Did they stand up for those people?

(27:44):
and how many people lost their jobs during COVID?
because they either wouldn't get vaccinated or whatever.
I mean, it's such hypocrisy that we see through this.
it's infuriating that if I, and I said this to her, and I would take the opportunity to belike, look, yeah, this is what I do.

(28:05):
Let me educate you on my job.
Okay, great.
They don't know when a patient needs a pill or needs to be changed or whatever.
They don't get that.
And I understand that.
it, yeah.
That was it.
Yeah, I would be, through many, many ownership changes in businesses that I've been in,yeah, let me show you what I do, but let me also show you how we can improve it.

(28:28):
I'm on the front lines, right?
I know the job.
Let me show you what can make this run better.
Take that opportunity, seize it, and give it to Elon Musk, who is, number one, a techgenius who...
may or may not be on the spectrum, but who is a freaking genius that could be like, youknow what, let's do this.

(28:49):
He has no skin in the game.
He doesn't have to do this.
Not like, you know, it's just relaxed.
I mean, he started PayPal for the love of God.
He started PayPal.
He already has everybody's information.
If he was going to do something with it, it would have already been done.
That is not where he's at.
And no, no, we don't just trust people 100 % right on the get go, but something in thisgovernment has to be done.

(29:12):
We have got to make it smaller.
But back to Dan Bongino, I watched him sign off on Monday and he was so emotional and myheart was just like, you can tell it, it's a labor of love for him and he just loves this
country and I think that he and Cash Patel together are gonna do, I mean, what a teamTrump has put together.
I mean, of course we're right wingers and we believe in the constitution and we believe insmall government and fiduciary responsibility and finance.

(29:43):
fiscally making great choices and not letting Nancy Pelosi go and do everything that she'sdone.
So I truly believe that we've put some, he has put some great people in place.
Well, think it's I think it's just, you know, and I think that's what people just don'trealize is that it's you know, it is just about rebuilding America and, you know, making

(30:07):
it stronger and just I don't know.
And I hope we don't lose viewers for this on our first episode by talking about this.
But it just, you know, let let's just wait.
We're 35 days in.
Let's just wait.
We have four years.
So, you know, getting crazy right now and getting upset and ruining your day over stuff.
like that this is not even reasonable because you have four years.

(30:32):
that don't agree with us, we are open.
Feel free.
Leave some comments on YouTube.
We'll talk about it.
This just happens to be our platform, and we happen to agree on things.
But I know that every American can agree that up until 35 days ago, our system was a mess.

(30:53):
We were not going anywhere.
We were terrible on the world stage.
Nobody was afraid of us.
Our economy was down.
And for those people that keep saying, eggs are still so expensive.
Well, there's no damn chickens.
Like we didn't kill the chickens.
Trump didn't kill the chickens.
the chickens were dead.
You got to give them a little bit of time to get to where they can lay eggs again.

(31:16):
Like we get it.
But I can already feel like, I just already feel safer on the world stage.
I feel safer in my own backyard with Tom Homan and with
with the illegal immigrants coming to Karnataka border, he texts, I just feel safer.
And maybe that's a facade, I don't know.

(31:36):
Maybe it's false hope, maybe, but it doesn't feel that way.
And if it doesn't feel that way, it gives me peace and I'm able to sleep at night, youknow?
Well, I know we talked about that, movie with Robert De Niro that you got, you both of yousaid you weren't gonna watch and it's limited series.
So think it was like six or eight episodes and we finished it last night and spoileralert, I'm gonna tell you how it ends if anybody's listening.

(32:01):
Not, we're gonna have listeners.
I wanna let them know, spoiler alert.
But so it ends with a corruption within.
within the office, right, within the government.
Exactly, exactly, right.
And Robert De Niro who plays a former president, his daughter was actually involved in it.

(32:21):
So, and it's just funny, because I mean, everybody's heard what Robert De Niro has saidabout the right side.
And, but.
I was just, sit there and looked at JB and I just started laughing.
said, this is, know, and where he actually looked at me.
Yeah, he actually looked at me and he goes, there's your deep state.
That's exactly what it is.
You know, you just don't even know who's involved.
Yeah, the irony.
Exactly.

(32:42):
Exactly.
It's crazy.
But yeah, I'm really looking forward to these two.
I have menopause brain grow.
I don't remember.
Sorry.
It's on Netflix, Robert De Niro.
I forget.
I forget what it's called.
But yeah.
Yeah.
He's a president.

(33:03):
tale, I can tell you that.
or the Fockers or Meet the Parents.
the Fokkers.
When we liked them back when we like I still like them.
mean, he's still whatever but I can like people that have different opinions.
Period.
That's that's that's that's the moral of a story.
Zero day.
Yes, that's it.

(33:23):
Thank you.
Thank you.
Yes.
So but yeah, I am looking forward to these guys are doing.
I'm a little nervous to see what's going to come out and how it's taken but
I think if anybody can do it, these guys can do it.
And P.M.
Bondi.
mean, P.M.
Bondi is on line with them.

(33:44):
files and the Epstein files on her desk.
on her desk and ready to go.
So funny thing, so I did hear that Marco and Pam told Elon they were not sending theirpeople's report cards.
the same thing.
Cash Patel said the same thing.
Yeah.
They need to lead by example, guys.
Come on, you need to lead by example.

(34:06):
that's like top secret stuff though.
That's like FBI.
You can't send that.
That's like, yeah.
Right.
sense is like deodorant.
Those who need it the most don't use it.
So.
Well, Pam Bondi too, she can't send her stuff.
You know, like that's just...
mean, yeah, I guess.

(34:30):
Yeah.
you could you could do that kind of stuff.
Oh, my God.
All right.
Well, you guys ready to get into our next segment?
Yes.
Yep.
You
I've always wanted if I I've always talked to my friends about if we ever this is evenbefore podcast and all kinds of things I always said I want to get together and just talk

(34:52):
about what is BS like and so now we have a platform where we can just say wow that drivesme nuts this is really just BS so no you go first okay I'll go I was I was torn I have a
couple but
Speaking of menopause and that fact that we're in menopause, all three of us, and we'vediscussed it a lot and, you know, all these therapies and all the things, but I do think

(35:18):
it's total BS that it's named menopause.
Like, what do they have to do with it?
Like, it's that, that, no, it should not, that's a terrible word.
It's a terrible word in itself anyway.
But for it to be called menopause, and I'm not man bashing, I'm just simply saying theywill know, they do not know, I don't care how woke you are, you are not gonna know what
menopause is if you're not a man.

(35:40):
and if it's specific to us, at least let us own it and give us a name that we like.
Well, I was saying that to Mike, my husband, and he goes, well, that's because when yousay the word, men will take a pause so they don't get yelled at, freaked out on, kicked in
the balls, any of that.
So he's like, we just take a pause.
So that was my, this is such a BS.

(36:02):
I have lots more, but that was mine for today.
I think I think we need to we probably need to make a name on this show that we spread outto the world that people start using and just get rid of that word because it's awful.
So we need to coin something.
Yeah, Krista.

(36:23):
Mine's just in general, like it's BS.
I don't have a private chef.
I hate cooking.
That's just about, it's just all about me right now.
And I just, I hate cooking, dinner, or even lunch for myself.
Like I just wish I had a private chef.
That's plain and simple.
That's a pretty fair, yeah.
I just don't, yeah.
No, I'm sick of cooking too, but that's what you do for a living, so.

(36:49):
Oh gosh.
I'm sick of it anyway.
if you had a personal chef, would you tell him what you want to eat or would you just lethim pick the menu all the time?
no, I'd have to tell him what to cook because Jason's so picky.
I would have to make the menu.
Yeah.

(37:09):
I mean, if I just gave him the basics, like this is what we would like to eat and then youcreate the dishes, that's fine.
Because like every week I'm always creating a menu.
We have a stupid old thing on our fridge where we write down our menu that we're having onMonday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, or...
You guys are organized.
I'm not that organized.
Yeah.

(37:30):
If we...
that.
It's just, it's exhausting.
It's exhausting.
We do, I do chicken and pork chops are like our staple, right?
And all I do is switch the spices.
So it seems like it's different.
Not me.
Most of time I just do spaghetti or chili or tacos and it's just, you know, it's a lot ofwork for two people, three people, you know.

(37:56):
No, I don't want to cook at home.
I want to be paid to cook.
Yeah.
that's like cleaning ladies.
Cleaning ladies like to clean but don't clean at home.
I guess that's true.
is BS Jen.
My BS, and I get this from, always get most of my news from social media, obviously.
My BS, and it's all about me too, is women who know how to do home improvements, like howare they just out there, you know, like measuring things and doing like a square cut or a

(38:27):
miter cut and using like all these different saws and then.
I'm jealous.
I'm not saying anything bad about them.
What is BS is that my parents didn't teach me how to measure or how to use tools likethat, right?
Sorry, mom.
I know what my mother's gonna say.
You're an adult now, you can do it, but.

(38:48):
say, look at YouTube, it'll teach you.
Yeah, but like I know the inches, like the big lines, but anything in between.
Oh yeah, sorry.
Sorry.
But the little lines in between, I have no freaking clue.
Whatever.
don't, I mean.
Thanks, Krista.

(39:11):
I bet you do.
Good for Mike.
Mike.
son called me the other day and asked me, I was visiting his house in Massachusetts and hehad his sink in his bathroom was clogged.
So I took the whole sink apart and got it all cleaned out.
And he called me and said, how did you do that last week or last month when you were here?
I'm like, okay, I'll take that.

(39:34):
during Christmas is that I would see all these TikToks and reels on Facebook about allthese women going to Dollar Tree and finding all these items and they created all these
awesome Christmas decorations.
How do you go into a store and scan the shelves and be like, I could take this foam balland this stuffed rabbit and this whatever and I can make a Christmas tree.

(39:59):
It's just, yeah, that's BS.
there's cults out there that teach people like that.
Like they have their own Facebook groups that we don't find.
I would love it.
and I used to love Pinterest and now Pinterest is just advertisements.
Like you can't get anything good on Pinterest anymore and I used to get so much stuff offof Pinterest.

(40:21):
I do love all that stuff.
That's my favorite kind of stuff to do that.
Yeah.
nails, like ideas how to get my nails done.
I get tattoo ideas on Pinterest.
I love Pinterest.
That's a good This is
just want to do a home improvement.
I want to take a weekend and put up a wall or take down a wall.
I could take down a wall.

(40:43):
just something.
I want to be able to cut stuff.
the junk in your garage.
wow.
What are you doing this weekend?
She's volunteering apparently.
You don't have a job, come and help me.
That's true, that's true.
I'm for hire right now.
All right, well that is our first episode.

(41:05):
