There are so many struggles we all go through. Join me every week, for some joy and hope!
God works through unlikely people, all through out the Bible. Gideon is one of those people. He is from the weakest tribe and is the youngest, but God chose him to lead the Israelites to defeat their oppressor. Gideon questions if God is with him and tests God. He doesn’t fully trust Him, which many of us struggle with. How things change when our trust and faith grow. Then prayer can be our first resort, and everything changes.
How are we entering this new year? Are we hopeful? Do we know that God is doing a new thing? God is doing a new thing in Joshua and the Israelites are entering the Promise Land. How would things look different, this holiday season and every day, if we had peace? Not just the absence of conflict, but feeling complete. This deep peace is Shalom in Hebrew. It is something we all long for, and only Jesus can provide it. We can be on this path of peace, when we take in ...
The first week of advent is about hope. The deep hope that no matter what many, many years ago God brought us Jesus. Are we living with this hope? We have control over whether we live in hope or not. The Israelites were told by Moses that they have a choice in Deuteronomy 30:15-20. Read these amazing verses! Will they chose life and love God and obey Him? Or choice death? We that choice too. Will we live with hope and light or choi...

The Bible is filled with examples of God working and blessing people, even in dark, hard times. I talk about Abraham and Sarah, Joseph and Naomi and Ruth. These people all went through hard times, but God never stops working! Through their hard times, blessings came and the story of redemption was told. All of these people had faith and hearts after God. We all can have hearts after God, even in hard times. Because He loves us and ...

As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
