Inicialmente, ela tinha a intenção de voltar logo depois, no entanto, após o mestrado, outras oportunidades profissionais surgiram, como o doutorado, e continuar nos Estados Unidos ainda faz sentido para a felicidade e objetivos dela hoje.
A Natália conta sobre a dificuldade de equilibrar a saudade do Brasil com a nova vida nos EUA, o estresse das visitas ao Brasil e a culpa constante de não estar presente com a sua família e amigos.
