當你好想講自己係香港人，但無論點講，對方都聽唔明你經歷過嘅創傷、get唔到你而家面對緊嘅困難。咁，海外港人仲可以點講自己？
呢一集，我哋講講「講不出聲」：
當我哋想將香港人嘅故事翻譯成英文，向世界講出我哋經歷，但講出口先發現，字詞根本唔夠用，語言本身就限制咗我哋。
我哋由一個翻譯遊戲講起，試譯學術書名如《Inconvenient Strangers》，一路拆解語言、權力、語境與理解之間的矛盾。我哋討論咗「Hermeneutic Injustice」（詮釋上的不正義），點解講唔出，唔單係語言問題，而係當你經歷咗某種創傷，但無人畀你講、甚至冇人想聽，就會變成一種深層的不正義。
喺討論中，我哋一齊問：
- 點解我哋用英文講「freedom」或「human rights」時，好似變得無力、空泛？
- 香港人喺國際政治語境下講故事，點樣先可以唔被左右既語言陷阱困住？
- 我哋可以點樣譯「小粉紅化」？點樣譯「講唔出口的創傷」？
- 點解我哋越努力解釋，反而越講唔清？係咪香港人之間都講緊唔同語言？
- 學術語言可以幫我哋講清自己，定係拉遠咗我哋同其他人之間的距離？
