This week on Fridays@First, Rev. Dr. Richard Gibbons invites us to lift up families grieving the recent violence and loss in our nation, praying for God’s comfort and peace. Looking ahead, he highlights two major events: the kickoff of Radiance and Above All women’s groups featuring author and stroke survivor Katherine Wolf, andMissions Weekend, including a concert with the Revelación Maranatha band from the Dominican Republic and a combined Sunday Life Group with Grant Haynes, founder of Global Frontier Missions.
Co-host Michelle Ward sits down with Tina Jones and Special Needs Coordinator Brenda Harper to share how First Pres cares for families and children with special needs. Dr. Gibbons also introduces this Sunday’s baptism families and welcomes guest speaker Sara Rieser, who will give an update on the Capital Campaign during the Moment for Missions.
