Cette année, Mario décide d'être celui qui aura le déguisement le plus effrayant du quartier. Il se procure donc un masque lui aussi au magasin de fardes et attrapes: un masque de vieillard sinistre aux cheveux filasses, au visage ridé et aux oreilles d'où sortent des araignées! C'est Mario évidemment qui remporte la palme du masque le plus affreux. Mais pourquoi se sent-il si vieux, si fatigué, si démoniaque?... Le masque en serait-il la cause? Attention, lecteur! Prépare-toi à avoir peur!
