[verse 1] Lay here for a while. take five in my nest.  rest your endless questions, babe.  let it off your chest. 

[verse 2]  the roll of green you grasp, is safe within my keep. no questions will I ask, if you need a place to sleep.

[verse 3]  the bruises that you hide, proclaim in you revile,  for I know the means,  by which your green compiled.

[verse 4]  I surely do hope,  to plug all the holes your needles have poked.  However, history sure has taught  us different lessons.

Sleep my little child.  fall into sweet dreams and push the working girl aside. think of true love wed-  and champagne limo rides.  your beauty is unique. I stare as you sleep.  Lucky you're alive  streets are so deprived.  

If she were clean, and she were mine, I'd steal every  siren from the seas-  apply to them soft torture. Make them sing their sweetest screams-  until my love is honored true,  and ears they find appease- 

I'm tired obviously. I'll sleep. the broken stripper is a treat.  goodnight, my angel.  it all was just so sweet
