Det var tidigt 70-tal och han skulle skriva en popopera tillsammans med en kompis i en stuga, men istället skapade Robert Danielsson det första strukturerade schackträningsmaterialet för barn. En karriär senare kan de flesta aktiva schackspelare tacka honom för material som "GABIÖ" eller "På äventyr i Schacklandet" där de som unga tog sina första stapplande steg. I dag är han pensionär, men fortsätter träna barn i schack, bland annat har han sett till att en grupp ukrainska flyktingbarn får lära sig spelet. Och självklart finns det också en ny bok på gång!
