Today we get to look at all that Jesus accomplished in our salvation and what it means that He is our Savior. Contrary to the opinion that Jesus is merely a good example for us to follow (which is a hopeless message that leads to despair), Jesus already accomplished our salvation and all we have to do is accept it. The saving work of Christ goes so far beyond His death on the cross for us, we have so much to be thankful for!
Next week we will be discussing the reading from volume 4, chapter 11 of “Life in Christ” by D. Martyn Lloyd-Jones (pages 507-516).
