Step back in time to the late 19th century, when Frank Henderson, a successful businessman, spared no expense in building his lavish Henderson Castle for his family. With its grand ballroom, multiple bathrooms, and twenty-five rooms, the castle was a testament to the Henderson's wealth and status. However, tragedy struck when Frank passed away just four years after moving in, leaving his wife Mary to reside in the castle until her own passing in 1907. Over the years, the castle changed hands and purposes, from apartments to college dorms, until finally becoming a luxurious bed and breakfast with a restaurant and spa. But alongside its opulent accommodations and stunning architecture, guests have reported eerie encounters with the supernatural. The spirits of Frank and Mary Henderson are said to still wander the halls, with Mary often spotted at the top of the staircase or in the Victorian Room. Another ghost, believed to be a Spanish-American War veteran named Clare Burliegh, is said to roam the castle, leaving behind EVPs and shadowy figures. The tragic tale of a young girl named Christine, who fell to her death while writing her name on the scaffolding, has also left a lingering presence at the castle. Some guests have even reported a ghostly dog jumping into bed with them at night.
