we got we got hoodies we got a whole bunch of stuff so definitely go over check that out,
we appreciate all your guys's support absolutely today we are talking about the paranormal,
(03:07):
yes specifically we're going to go over some types of hauntings today just get
everybody up to speed on different types of hauntings maybe talk to some people
about things that they've experienced.
And different things that we've experienced, too, right? Oh, yeah.
I will get the link for our merch so you guys can check it out.
(03:36):
Have you had experiences? Any paranormal experiences, right?
I have. I've had some interesting experiences. Just in case anybody doesn't
know, me and Sierra are part of the paranormal team. Mm-hmm.
So, we've had our share of experiences through our time being on the team.
(03:59):
Crazy experiences. Some places, no experiences.
But every place is different. Do you think the jail is your favorite?
Jail is definitely my favorite.
We got mom in the house. And good old Damien. Good morning. Good morning, Damien.
(04:22):
You want to tell people about what happened at the jail, just in case no one's heard it yet?
So at the jail, we did an experiment where we were on TikTok Live.
We were doing a Phasma box session, which ended up being a Phasma.
(04:45):
One second.
Ended up being an Estes session on Phasma box. Mm hmm.
And I got into my cell and I decided to lay onto the bed for like five minutes.
Hmm. Sorry about that. Two of our teammates saw a shadow.
(05:05):
They ran up the stairs and I heard them go upstairs and I was like,
all right, I'm tired of laying in the bed now.
So I got up, stood in the doorway and out of nowhere, this bang came from inside
the jail. It was the actual jail cell that I was in.
(05:26):
You having a rough time over there? A little bit. Damien said,
where do you put criminal sheep behind bars?
We actually do have a YouTube video of that experience, which I can share real quick.
(05:46):
They say there's no running in ghost hunting. right well i didn't run definitely
scared the hell out of me it did,
I was, yeah. Yeah? Yeah.
Sorry for the language, everybody. You got to understand, you get scared. Who's that guy?
(06:08):
Who's that? Is something vibrating? So Megan asked if something vibrated,
and that bang was so loud that it actually vibrated every single jail cell on that block. Loud bang.
I know it's a hit and it's vibrating. for this.
What was that? We don't know. It came from the cell from the environment upstairs.
(06:29):
Sorry. It came from whose cell?
From Ray's cell. He just like ran down the hall. He just ran down the hall?
I was like, where were you? I didn't. Where were you?
It was a wild time.
Yeah, it was crazy.
(06:49):
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Keep our bestie Jess.
Shit so you can see right standing in the doorway.
I like how you like went back and like looked in
like wait like was there anybody there with me like that's
that's because it came from inside that cell it was
(07:12):
it was intense like i was standing there and i
felt the percussion of that bang
so what do you think it was to me
it sounded like something was banging on the bed so i don't know maybe there
was an inmate in there that was pissed off that i was laying in his bed that's
what it sounded like to me everybody else thinks it sounds like the jail cell
(07:35):
door closing because right before that,
megan says on the s the session get in so maybe it's a guard closing the cell,
but i think it sounds like the bed and like we're going back there later this year,
it's something that i am dying to recreate
(07:55):
absolutely so i have to do the same exact thing on the same floor and i'll see
if i can recreate it yeah that was wow that was i was holding the tiktok live
and i wasn't trying to talk much since i was like sitting like right in front of Megan.
And like, I heard it and I was like, like I kind of froze for a second.
(08:18):
I was like, what was that?
Should I move? Should I stay here? Like it was, it was definitely wild. Definitely wild.
That was one of the most insane experiences I've had.
Now, do you think that was an intelligent response? I mean, I guess it depends
on if you think someone was hitting on the bed, you would take that as like
an intelligent, like spirit being like, no, like come lay down.
(08:42):
If it, if it was hitting on the bed, absolutely intelligent. Right.
If it's something residual, Residual, then it could be a guard closing the door,
but then you have to kind of gauge and in between like residual and intelligent,
like what if maybe because I was laying in the bed, they thought I was an inmate
(09:05):
and the guard was telling me to get the hell back in myself. Right.
Then is it residual or is it intelligent?
And that's something that we can only speculate, you know?
It was definitely it was definitely crazy i am
looking forward to getting back and trying to recreate that we
have a couple different experiments for that jail um
(09:27):
and for those wondering that was at licking county jail in newark ohio so yeah
i i don't want to say i've had a lot of experiences but like there have been
some that have stayed have stood out to me.
(09:48):
I saw a full-body apparition at prospect pay prospect place that's also in ohio,
oh yeah that was wild i was up there with two teammates at the time and the one teammate who,
will always have a special place in my heart cory was very new to the team at
the time and me cory and rachel were on the second floor and we were going to
(10:12):
go over to like the older side of the building and you had to go through a door, right?
So if you open up the door, there is a door to your door, the doorway to your
left, a doorway in front of you, and then a little hallway that goes and wraps around on your right.
So I went first, I opened up the door and to the left, we, in that room, we had a laser grid.
(10:35):
So there's a bunch of green dots on, right.
And when I opened up that door, I looked to my left towards where those green lights were.
And in the doorway, I saw a black figure with shoulders that span the width of the doorway.
Like I can only assume that it was a man because I've never seen a woman that large before.
(10:59):
And but it was it like almost filled up the entire
doorway the entire doorway and i
jumped i slammed the
door shut and in logical thinking i held the door shut thinking that the ghost
couldn't come through the door to get me because why would that make sense and
(11:21):
like cory and rachel are like what happened what happened like what happened
and i've like told them and they were
just both like you're like no way there's no way and i was like feel my
heart i kept telling rachel like feel my heart feel my heart and then
we made cory go first and he was like wait you're making
the new guy go first i'm like listen you're the army vet like protects
(11:41):
us but then i didn't see it after that so that was that was wild that was the
first time i ever saw like like while out on an investigation like a full body
apparition and the only time i've seen a full body i haven't seen any full body
apparitions. I've definitely seen shadow figures.
(12:01):
But going back to that full body apparition, do you think that was something that was intelligent?
Or do you think that would be something residual? I don't know.
Because like I said, we wasn't doing anything. It just stood there in the doorway.
You know? I can speculate to be like, okay, maybe it was standing there because
(12:21):
it didn't want us to go into that area.
Maybe it was residual. Maybe he was standing there like standing guard because
that prospect police had a lot of ties to the Underground Railroad.
So, you know, if they were hiding people, you know, keeping people safe up there,
like I would assume you'd have someone standing guard watching,
(12:44):
making sure that, you know, they're safe.
Yeah. But I think it's up for speculation, for sure. Absolutely.
Shadow Seekers is here. Hey, Shadow Seekers. Damien said maybe try to pickpocket him and not grab butt.
(13:07):
Have you had any other experiences? experiences i've definitely
had more experiences i think probably
the most intelligent haunting experience
i've had and it wasn't necessarily like much of a haunting just more of just
(13:27):
the amount of communication that spirits wanted to have with me would be new
egypt historical society When we went on December 16th,
I've had a feeling you were going to say that the place holds a special place in my heart now,
you know, when it was the guys upstairs in the attic and the girls,
(13:51):
you know, started in the basement on the Facebook live.
You didn't get much on the on the
facebook live in the basement you go to the first floor into a certain room
and all of a sudden the phasma box is more crazy with my name yep it was the
very first experience that i've had with my name being said so many times on phasma box.
(14:16):
Like and i i remember going outside
with you and rachel and
cheryl and you're like
there's something in that room that wants to talk to you so bad like huh because
there was interesting because it was our third time there so like what happened
(14:40):
all of a sudden on the third time being there that,
And they want to talk to you people that wanted to talk to me so bad.
And we got some you know, eventually we did another estus session up there,
It ended up being that they wanted me in the room by myself Which we went ahead
(15:01):
and did and we got some pretty interesting answers like You know,
oh They were asking me to help them,
Talking about they were trapped Trapped in
the tunnels you are the light and that
kind of stuff blew me away because i didn't really
know what to think of it i mean it still baffles me to this day of
(15:24):
what i think of it and then you know there's
some cool things went in there like the
little white christmas tree that is
in that room you know talking about the whole story behind the white christmas
tree nobody really knows what what the story is but apparently there is a spirit
there that doesn't want you to touch the tree don't touch it at all so i was
(15:48):
asking hey you know who this is built tree belong to.
And you were on the ss and you said that's mine
woman don't touch it woman so that was uh that was pretty cool and then the
whole backstory of how mike told us that when they take the christmas tree down
(16:09):
that the actual big Christmas tree around Christmas time, when they take it
down, they hear a little kid crying,
actually getting in contact with the little kid when I was asking,
well, okay, well, who does this tree belong to that, that is behind me?
And a little kid comes over the fast food box saying, that's mine.
(16:29):
You know, that, that blew me away right there.
Absolutely. There's, there's definitely, I feel like that time that you're referencing
at New Egypt, that was absolutely intelligent.
Absolutely. Like things were just too on point.
It was crazy. I mean, even getting Alice's name over, over the Phasma box,
(16:54):
which is the only name I got. I couldn't get the male's name.
Right. It was hard to get the male's name, but Alice, for anybody that doesn't
know, alice actually has her in a bedroom on the second floor she actually lived in that house.
Absolutely just getting to the comments real quick wade said
(17:15):
generally speaking from past experience that bang captured wonderfully in the
video would be from a territorial location of the cell a residual energy would
be built up of energy released after a build-up over time or even hours worse
that is released and will often recreate the activity that it created in the first place.
(17:35):
Example, cannon fire echoed on a battlefield.
Yeah. Yeah. So if you want to say it's residual and it's a guard,
like slamming the door shut, you know?
Yeah. But the thing that got me is like, I banged on the bed and to me,
it sounded more like a bang on the bed.
And I inspected that jail cell.
(17:58):
Minutes after that there was nothing that fell there's nothing that fell from the ceiling,
there's nothing in there that could fall to create that
bang so i'm still
baffled from it it's something that i have to definitely recreate that whole
going in the jail cell laying in the bed for like five to ten minutes getting
(18:19):
up standing in the doorway just trying to recreate create it just to and also
leaving a camera there maybe even hanging on the bed myself,
to capture the sound and then slam the
door shut capture that sound to try to figure out hey okay this is definitely
what it was right damien said they'll leave a set of marbles in the cell next
(18:42):
time we could we could hi adam mom says it's your special jail cell now.
Wade said it's the activity was a direct contact with a territorial spirit,
maybe it was more like bro like this is my jail cell like
this is my bed right get out
(19:04):
of my bed right right no the
jail is definitely wild definitely wild
we'll be going I can't wait to get back there can't wait
to get back there you want to know where else I need to get back to
where's that iron island yes i
got some unanswered questions and a
(19:25):
bone to pick at iron island oh yeah i
do i do i i don't even have a full like understanding of what happened like
why it happens ray is going to be handcuffed into a cell i'm being handcuffed in my jail cell Yep.
(19:47):
There's four floors at this jail, and there will be an experiment where there
is someone handcuffed on each floor.
I'm going to see what happens. I'm going to handcuff myself and may sell.
Yes, mom, that is a one in iron, one above below. So I don't know the museum. We recently went there.
(20:11):
It was formerly a church and then it turned into a funeral home.
It was a funeral home for a number of years and then now it's a museum as far
as for the property and building as a whole,
i can't tell you if it's haunted or not because i only stayed
(20:32):
in the basement for the entire time that i was there same here for a good reason
there's a story about or a claim that there's a maintenance man who lives in
the basement and this one back corner so the The basement is like a very open, wide open basement.
You have like two little like cubby holes, I guess. Like two little off rooms.
(20:59):
But the one, I didn't take the tour around.
And we were down there. And I think it was you, me, Amber, Zach, the first time.
But Amber, who went on the tour. Brett. Right.
Amber, who went on the tour. where she's like, yeah, there's a man down here
that doesn't like women.
And me being the independent woman that I am, I'm like, okay, we'll test that theory.
(21:25):
So I went back into the corner where, you know, apparently I'm not supposed to be.
And we started asking questions. We had a vibe pod back there and I have never
seen that vibe pod go off.
Many times in my, like, I have been around that piece of equipment for almost
two years now. I have never seen it go off like that before.
(21:45):
When we were like asking questions, like, is it okay if we're here?
Viapod would go off. And I was like, am I allowed to leave?
Wouldn't go off. Do I need to stay? It would go off.
Amber asks, well, can, can I stay? The Viapod didn't say anything.
And then Amber was like, do you think I'm too loud? And the Viapod just went off.
(22:07):
So So Amber walked out of that little area that we were in. So it was just me back there.
And I was just asking like random questions like, oh, is this like,
who is this? You know, what do you do as an investigator?
And Zach was using an SLS camera that they allowed us to use there.
(22:27):
And on the SLS camera, you could see where my figure was.
Was but then behind me there was
a tall figure as if there was something standing behind me
now granted like i'm the only one there like i'm the only one there
and then you ended
up coming back into the cubbyhole with me yep and zach i remember zach saying
(22:53):
that the figure that was behind me was now like standing like over top of me
like as i'm sitting like crisscrossed on the floor and then And it ended up
shooting up into the ceiling.
So I tried to get... I made you leave the cubbyhole to see if it would come
back. And it didn't come back. So we were down there for a little bit longer. And then we took a break.
(23:13):
And I had the brilliant idea to have an Estes session and go under in the same
spot. So we went down there.
Everybody was asking all sorts of different questions. And...
I don't even know how to explain it. Like some of the things that this spirit,
(23:34):
so an S-decession, let me just explain this real quick in case everybody doesn't know.
An S-decession is you have headphones and you have blindfold on with the spirit
box or phasm box that's on the computer, whichever one you choose to do.
And the, it doesn't
always like the words that come through aren't always like super
(23:55):
clear like sometimes you have to like decipher what
they're what they're trying to say but the voice that
I was hearing that day clear as day
like clear as day it was saying things like she stays you can't have her challenge
me for her it was like a very possessive like oh you're mine now you need to
(24:18):
stay here I remember feeling like almost like an anxiety
like anxiety attack coming on kind of thing like panic
i don't even remember how long i was under but it was a while it was pretty
crazy like i said it was just very territorial very like possessive and i just
(24:40):
just made me feel a certain way and then you ended up tapping me out,
so i took everything off and like i went to like stand up and like my legs were
gone i couldn't feel my legs and it wasn't from like sitting because like when
i took off the headphones and everything like i was hit with i don't even know
(25:01):
i just energy maybe like i was just,
hit with something and it like it messed me up a little bit.
I barely walked out of the location without assistance and i was pretty messed up for a.
(25:22):
I need to know why. So I need to get back there and figure out what the heck
it was and do another S session because you ain't going to stop me.
Yeah, it was crazy. It was, I mean, the way it was challenging to keep you down
(25:42):
in the basement was absolutely wild. I've never experienced something like that before.
It's almost like it, one of you all, you're all to itself.
Yeah. You know, just stay down there forever.
It was threatening me like challenging
me and i'm just like you know when we
(26:02):
leave this basement like sierra's not staying down here
she's gonna come with all of us right
like she's not yours like she's our
friend like i i don't know how to explain it it's definitely a lot a question
that i need to figure out why like why did this happen like i've been to a lot
(26:25):
of locations like i have done an estes session in a lot of locations and that's never happened before.
Never so i need to know why it happened why it happened to me like i have questions yeah,
go to comments do you use a full spectrum camera as well as normal cams,
(26:47):
ray's got two phasm cams yeah i've
got two phasm games i was my phasm cams
were actually set up in other parts of the building so we didn't
get to use those yeah demy said
his lung at best this was four hours that sounds like that
sounds like torture no thank you just said
that they were playing hide and seek with the child ghost in the toy room i
(27:10):
did hear about that if i remember correctly there's this like toy dinosaur that
goes off of like motion and if you go near it it like roars like a dinosaur
and they would go and hide it and like the little ghosty kid would go find it,
like to experience that too for sure hi cheryl hey we miss you damien said spirits
(27:36):
can learn from each other what's going to happen if they all learn shadow figure abilities.
Interesting yeah mom agrees that four hours is too much too much yeah it's a long time i would
have such a headache afterwards such a headache like i could not like i think
(27:58):
maybe the longest i've ever been under has been like maybe an hour maybe but again you lose time,
yeah yeah you lose time you think you're there for like 15 minutes and like an hour's passed,
so but whatever it was in that basement of iron island i can tell i can for
(28:21):
sure say that it was intelligent like it knew what it was doing now why or how i don't know i don't know,
cheryl said what did i say while i was under that was crazy well unfortunately
ray is not not going to be able to answer that because he was sleeping at wildwood in the basement,
(28:43):
oh come on i remember butter pig yes butter pig you know i'm not even gonna
i'm not even gonna repeat the butter pig comment no damien said is it conjured
or drawn to the death of the place.
Talking about iron island i don't know i don't
(29:04):
know not sure i know like
jack and katrina had an episode of portals the hell
there so i watched it once a long time ago i'll have to watch it again just
see how their experiences went because i honestly can't remember wade is said
something interesting he said
(29:24):
when nesper team does the sdism as sdism method we don't let any just any
person participate they must be old enough to have a strong spiritual
foundation i have found that a lot of participants will
will be drained of energy even to the
point they can almost can't walk i pull
them out of the room and do a clearing and remove any attachments and give them
(29:45):
electrolytes see usually i'm pretty okay usually i don't have any issues doing
this it's like i said i've been doing it for a while and you know i stay pretty
grounded and yeah you know i usually
know when like i've had enough and i'll pull myself out of it but that iron
island was just a whole different whole different like entity in itself yeah
(30:10):
i've done an issue doing this also.
Also we do have another new egypt historical society coming up in august we
do which i still need answers to a lot of things that has happened December 16th.
So I'm looking forward to getting
back in there and doing another Estes in that one room that we were in.
(30:34):
Absolutely. Absolutely.
So there's, yeah, neither did I, Cheryl, neither did I, like I said,
I can't explain it. Like I need, I need to go back.
It depends on the energy and the strength of the spirit.
Yeah. And I don't, I don't know. I don't know who it was, what it was,
(30:57):
you know, they said it was the maintenance man, but was it, how do we know for sure?
Was it just something else that popped in to just say, Hey.
Well jack and katrina being there for portals to hell if there's a portal and there is something,
capable of coming in anytime at once yeah and that leaves any location like
(31:24):
if you believe you know in portals and stuff like that that leaves any location open to anything,
yeah you know because you can't
really control what comes in especially if you open
it up and then just walk away you know what
is doll island do you think you could survive doll
island what is doll island doll island is in
(31:44):
mexico okay and it's
literally on a location that is
just loaded with dolls like haunted dolls
apparently i mean if
we're talking about paranormal experiences says I had a doll thrown at me at
Wildwood look in the doll island it's there's
(32:05):
it's definitely a popular place that a
lot of tv shows have been to like I would definitely go there I mean I would
go but if any dolls come like lunging at me I'm gonna start kicking and punching
and doing whatever I gots to do yeah no thank you like I'll go I'll go I don't
(32:26):
know how long I want to stay there.
But i'll go you may see me on the boat they just like drop you off and then
leave you there i could share a quick video of it real quick for anybody that doesn't know what it is,
see i don't know a minute it's like a minute long share it i gotta see this,
(32:47):
we're gonna share this real quick doll island.
Overchucky. This is an entire island of creepy dolls.
Mexico's Conecas, or Island of the Dolls, is straight out of a horror movie.
There are no concrete buildings, no electricity, or running water,
just wooden structures and dolls. Oh, so many dolls.
(33:12):
Legend has it, this little island just south of Mexico City is the site of the
tragic drowning of a little girl,
a local man, Don Julian Santana Barrera unsuccessfully tried to save her.
That was in 1950, but Don Julian reportedly said he could still hear the little girl's cries.
Some claim after her death, he found dolls every time he went outside,
(33:35):
while others say that for 17 years, he hung broken toys, trying to ward off
evil spirits with unloved dolls.
Whatever the reason, he left behind a terrifying place to visit. it.
Folklore says Don Julian reached a frightening death on the shores of the island,
drowning in the same spot he said he tried to rescue the little girl from.
(33:57):
Accident? Or did the dolls have something to do with it?
No one has confirmed if any of these dolls have come to life,
but who's to say they haven't?
For Inside Edition Digital, I'm TC News.
Have to think about that think about
it because what's interesting is
(34:18):
he drowned in the same spot the girl drowned like what right what
is it the dolls or something in the water oh no i don't know i would like to
go to mexico just to like say see i don't know if that would be on the list
for me to see you i'll go and you go mother you go first and then i'll go how about that,
(34:41):
you know i'll go at some point but it's like very like
low on the list of places that i need to go i'll get to it eventually okay yeah
that makes sense you know i have other things that i'd like to go and experience
first you know like fighting bigfoot mothman the loch ness monster yeah um,
(35:04):
I think I'm good. I think I'm good.
I love Josh Gates. I did watch that episode. I love Josh Gates.
I probably watched a while ago. I need to rewatch his stuff.
I would like to meet that man someday, though. I feel like I have questions.
I'm sure we'll see him in our crossing. If we can, listen, if we could do a
(35:27):
podcast episode and look for Bigfoot with Josh Gates, I will lose my mind. I would lose my mind.
See, Stephen says Bigfoot is best. Bigfoot's one of my favorites.
His new season is back. I haven't watched any of his new season yet.
Neither have I. It's on the list.
But going back to paranormal and not doll, hunt doll island,
(35:52):
because I'd rather erase that from my brain for the time being.
Different kinds of hot teens. You know, some of it's just residual.
Some of it's just grandma in the kitchen. Baking a pie.
Going into like residual hauntings, you know, for anybody that doesn't know,
residual hauntings is something that is kind of like a tape player that is on repeat,
(36:19):
whether it's something that happens the same time every night.
Maybe it happens on certain full moons of certain dates or you go to a place like,
gettysburg where you're dealing with a war that happened and you know a lot of people see,
(36:43):
figures soldiers like marching through the fields i mean that's something that's
residual where Where you see
the energy of the soldiers, but the soldiers decay and interact with you.
So, you know, whether they pop up like every single day or every single night,
or maybe they pop up on certain dates.
(37:04):
Like maybe they only pop up on the dates that the war happened.
That would be your type of residual haunting. Right.
And then you get, sometimes you get the intelligent hauntings.
You know, and those, those spirits are more, they're not stuck in that tape recorder,
whether or not they're tied to a building, an object, a person,
(37:30):
you know, they're going to go out of the way to try to communicate.
You know there's times where like we'll be
on investigations using equipment and you
know we'll be like are you a male and it doesn't go off are you a female and
a piece of equipment to go off you know and you can sit there and there's times
where we've been able to sit there and have a full-on conversation you know
(37:53):
yeah definitely intelligent you know sometimes you You get the intelligent,
not-so-nice hauntings.
Yeah. Yeah.
I had my experience with running into a dark energy. They're not fun. No.
I mean, it was only my third investigation ever and scared the hell out of me.
(38:19):
Do you want to go into that?
So we went to a place that we've been to.
Well, it was my first time there, but the team has been there multiple, multiple times.
You've probably been there 10 times before I even been there once right and.
(38:41):
One of the teammates takes me on the tour of the place and I get into this one
room Well, we go to the third floor and I go to the room on the left Check it
out. Everything's all cool.
I go to the room on the right And something just didn't feel right in there like I just felt like,
I was just being watched watch like chills meanwhile it's it's early october
(39:08):
it's still warm you know there's no ac in this place so it's still hot to me
i'm usually hot everywhere i go anyway,
and it just gave me absolute chills up up my
whole body like i was just straight up
just felt fear in that room the whole night
this first time i've ever experienced something like that yeah
(39:30):
that's not all
of them not all hauntings are nice you know
there's there's people that can you know depending on your faith what you believe
stuff like that there's various different ways to help get rid of you know negative
risks and stuff something interesting that damien said I can get my scroll back up here.
(39:57):
Damien said, it's possible you're hearing your own echo from the future traveling back.
That is an interesting concept.
What if we're just screaming into the void and someone's responding?
It's possible. Rich says, hi. Hey, Rich. Bob is here. Hello. Hey, Bob.
(40:19):
Wait again. Again, he said his belief, residual haunting is basically a buildup
of energies that recreate an occurrence.
Spiritual contact deals with an actual contact with an entity or entities that
have direct communication and conversational interactions and exchanges.
Makes sense mom said that's
(40:41):
why she won't go to hinsdale i'm telling
you when we went to hinsdale it was real quiet like it
was i didn't really feel
much at hinsdale the second floor main bedroom i felt like there was a presence
up there but it wasn't like overbearing or anything thing yeah I don't think
(41:03):
I've really like I don't think I've ever been to a place and I'm like yeah,
like I'm not gonna come back there like I
had an experience at the
same location that you were just talking about where my first time there I was
there as like a guest I wasn't part of a team or anything at that point and
(41:28):
i was in the basement and to make a long story short i.
Saw the three of us that were down there we saw like these white balls
of light and they started circling us
and they started getting
like then like i was saying oh it's over here and then
the people that are really like no it's here no what's there no what's there
(41:50):
it was like we were seeing it was moving so fast that we were seeing it
in multiple different areas is and one of
the people I was with was like all right it's time to go so I
was like okay cool like I'm I'm ready to get out of
here and I went to stand up and I felt like a hand went on my shoulder and like
tried to push me back down into the chair and that kind of freaked me out a
(42:13):
little bit this is like my second or third like ghost hunt that I was on like I was nowhere near.
I mean, I'm still not a professional, but I was nowhere near experienced with
anything at that point. Yeah. But that kind of freaked me out.
Kind of freaked me out a little bit.
(42:35):
Look at how your mom said, for y'all.
For y'all, about like, we didn't feel anything at Hinsdale. And she's like, yeah, y'all didn't.
She said, I haven't been near that house since I was a kid, and I'm pushing
45 now. She doesn't know much about me yet. Mm-mm.
Nope. you leave her guessing yeah mom you're gonna
(42:55):
be 30 46 wade said
your mom is smart and won't ever go up this upstairs there again
i was attacked never again see that
was my second time at hinsdale house and the first time i was rushed in the
kitchen uh everyone was outside we were kind of taking a little bit of a break
getting fresh air and i went back inside to i think grab my sweatshirt because
(43:18):
it was raining and i looked towards the living room and just this like
black cloud just like came at me and
i was like not doing this with you bro like i'm out
went back outside and i was like okay but
again when we went there it was besides a
few intelligent like phasma
(43:41):
box responses like it was quiet we did have mayo go off on the bed for like
over a minute straight i don't know rich says i always go into any place i'm
investigating never expecting anything to happen i've never gone in feeling
fear or leaving it with fear,
expect the unexpected you know that's what like i don't i don't walk into location to investigate.
(44:07):
Expecting to have a experience expecting to have an interaction yeah like i
look at it as me and a bunch of my friends go and try and talk to some ghosts
sometimes we don't sometimes we do,
yeah there's there's been a couple places i've been to where i didn't experience
much at all yeah like we went to.
(44:29):
Strauss strauss strauss i didn't really
experience much at all there wasn't much
dead for me but like
sayer sayer was kind of quiet i didn't make that one no because you were working
yeah there really wasn't yeah you have to understand like you know when you
(44:53):
go into an investigation like you're not always going to have an experience,
yeah like i could go we could go into a place the same location five different
times and have a different experience or no experience like the what happens
at the house at that time time, five different times could all be different.
Like you could go in there and be quiet. You get no equipment hits, no footsteps.
(45:15):
It could just be super quiet and you call it a night early because nothing's happening.
Back in New Egypt, we've been there three times. The first two times,
yeah, we had some cool experiences.
Third time being there, they only wanted to talk to me. Yeah.
I will say the second time that we were there is when the cat ball,
(45:38):
the door flew open, the cat ball flew off the cat ball stand.
Yes. I will say that.
And we tried to recreate it the third time we were there. And we even brought
balloons to see if there was like a draft.
Left nothing nothing rich's got a good point it all it's all in how you approach you know they,
(46:01):
no it did not damien that was almost september 24th will be two years ago is when it happened,
and no i didn't leave anything but i
felt it i absolutely did i would have i probably i don't don't even know if
i'd still be ghost hunting if i like looked at my shoulder there was a whole
(46:22):
handprint on my shoulder i don't even know like i would probably look at that
and be like you know i'm just gonna stay away from this like i'll be out like
it's not for me guys like i'm gone.
I mean that was me in the beginning now me as an investigator like i'm asking
people you know asking spirits to throw me across the room like please just make sure it's on camera
(46:43):
throw me across the room please i have
yet to be thrown across the room a girl can still try though
what else damien said do you
ever leave rem pods and record how long they go off or
do you reset after a few seconds hmm if we're not going into any rooms for a
while we usually just leave it on record you know because we set up we set up
(47:08):
cameras all around and just record
just case we capture anything in any of the rooms that we set up in.
Sometimes you set up REM pods and they keep going off.
As soon as you set them up, we'll reset them, see if we get any difference of
things that are happening.
Or we'll change the battery, thinking maybe it's a battery issue.
(47:32):
Bob says he goes in hoping for an interaction, but not expecting to,
not expecting to have one.
Cheryl said Sayer was quiet, Strauss, they had activity in the library.
Barry do spirits ever
run low on energy i think
it's a matter of opinion because again none of
us really know how the other
(47:54):
side works i personally think they do run a low on energy i think that they
if you have a piece of equipment say a camera right fully charged battery ready
to go So you get into a location and then it's suddenly the battery's dead after
15 minutes of being there.
(48:15):
Yeah. How does how logically how does that happen? Could it could it be that the battery is bad?
Absolutely. Yeah. But then you go into a location the week after your battery
is fine. It's like, right.
Well, was it my battery or was something draining it?
So i definitely do think that spirits do run low on energy and they,
(48:38):
use like the equipment that we do bring in to
sometimes refill on that energy i also think that if you allow that you can
offer spirits to use some of your energy to communicate as well yeah rich says
he deals more with residential locations there to investigate but also to to
(48:59):
defuse the fear that the family is feeling.
Something that I've learned through doing residential cases is it's.
Can be a very funny thing right
yep there are what
we called our fear cages right so
(49:19):
if you're having if you're waking up at night like seeing things at the foot
of your bed i don't want to say hallucinating but if you're having experiences
but you're using like a heated blanket on your bed every night like that's putting
out emf and creating a fear cage around where you're sleeping.
(49:39):
And some people are more affected by EMFs than others. Absolutely.
Absolutely. So I feel like people in residential cases,
I think sometimes it's in situations like that where people are affected by
the large amounts of EMF that they think the problem that they're having,
(50:05):
the paranormal problem they're having, is worse than what it really is.
But that's you know you have to go on to you know educate like don't go up and
be like well you're you know you're dumb you're stupid no like educate people
because a lot of people don't understand,
like the paranormal side of the things like they think
about like oh like you know my cabin doors keep opening or you know a plate
(50:31):
flew off the counter you know it's not hauntings aren't always bad at all other
way to see it it's eight o'clock oh look at me just talking and talking and talking.
Jump on over to the get haunted page and check out buddy thayer who was going live at eight o'clock,
(50:53):
he's a good friend of ours you know go support
him you don't need to stay here and talk to us please
go go talk to him it is
now his time to shine i'm just going to get through
these comments real quick and then i think that's about
it for us right yeah damien said
72 hours is about normal before you understand locations and they're comfortable
(51:15):
with you i think i think you need longer i mean you know we go to new egypt
three times and i mean that's what it took two days for them to, I don't know,
I'd say 20 to 24 hours before they started calling my name like crazy.
(51:36):
Yeah. But like, there's a place like, you know, Samuel Miller that I have been
to countless of times at this point, you know, I feel like I can walk in there and I generally,
you know,
who I'm communicating with. But there's also times where something new comes
(51:57):
in and I'm like, wait, I don't know who you are.
Yeah, maybe it depends on the person you are.
Yeah, absolutely.
Cheryl said we needed more time, Sayer. It was large. It was large.
Wade said, because of that, I feel like I always need to be on guard and in
(52:17):
a lot of cases, that alone will trigger and bring out the darker spirits.
Each experience is new and yes, I have been thrown across the room and punch
slapped and so on you just pick yourself up and bring in stronger protection,
yeah yeah yeah and that's another thing you have to protect yourself going in
that doesn't matter like whatever you believe in whatever whatever you want if you think you know,
(52:39):
bringing in a cross is that's going to protect you by all means you know daniel
says he doesn't use alkaline batteries usb battery recharge packs and they stop
false positives and don't drain,
Fair. We use both.
We use rechargeable and...
But I have noticed that with rechargeable batteries that they'll die too.
(53:05):
Brand new rechargeable battery, fully charged, put into a REM pod,
like 20 minutes, dead. Makes no sense.
Bob says, if you ever get up north, go to the Isaac Morse house in Wooded Shendon,
Massachusetts. Very active place.
Nothing's going to harm you, but very active. we'll have to look into that i'm
(53:26):
only about a seven hour drive from massachusetts so,
rich says emf radiation sickness can also be caused by
high levels of emf radiation and some people are more sensitive absolutely absolutely
yes thank you damien thanks damien good night dawn thank you everybody for joining
