I am your host, Ray. And I'm Sierra.
How's everybody doing tonight? Hi, Courtney. Courtney says hi. Hey.
Talking about Mothman today. Wait a couple seconds for everybody to come on. And then we have a...

(01:31):
Hey, Jessica. Hi.
I'm going to start having Jess send me care boxes of just snacks.
Snacks next she's the snacks bringer
every time i see jess she's always got snacks you
always got swedish fish but she's always got snacks i'm taking
a minute for everybody to get on i shared it to our facebook page because

(01:54):
you know facebook would be a pain in the yeah unfortunately facebook
changed their rules so because we're not 60 days
old yet we can't go live anymore on facebook book so a
couple more weeks we should be able to
get that all fixed up and hopefully there
won't be any more issues or changing the rules anymore

(02:14):
right hopefully mothman snacks before i don't drink any mountain dew though
hi amber do you just want to like explain to the viewers like how much you love
mothman so mothman has been one of my favorite cryptids i've always had a fascination with Mothman.
It all started with Mothman Prophecies, watching that. Ever since then, it's been my favorite.

(02:42):
Got a whole Mothman tattoo. Bigfoot was your favorite. I do like Bigfoot. I like Bigfoot a lot.
I did get a Mothman tattoo. You did? I guess I could show that real quick for
anybody that hasn't seen it yet. Just to show your love.
It's a hilarious tattoo too. Hilarious.

(03:03):
I'm just going to save it real quick.
Hi, AC. All right, so I got a tattoo a couple weeks ago while we were up in New York.
From my boy Tyler, so shout out to Tyler, even though he probably doesn't watch these.
Look at that. Check that out. Pretty crazy.

(03:27):
Every time I hear that song, I immediately think of the tattoo you got.
He did a great job adding the red into it to make it pop out a lot more.
That was he did a hell of a job on it. I told you my guy is good.
He's he's. We got Zach in the house.
Oh, Bigfoot's here. Bigfoot.

(03:49):
One of these days, I'm going to get him to dress up as Bigfoot for like a spoof video.
Do it. It's my plan. I'll dress up as Mothman.
You're going to dress up as Mothman? Yeah. Are you going to fly across the sky like Mothman?
Listen we can get a crane with like a like you know metal line it'd be fine,

(04:15):
to borrow some rope from work there you go we got carmen hi carmen dawn hello,
craig's down halloween party craig can be bigfoot absolutely absolutely Absolutely.
Craig, I'm going to look on Amazon and try to find you a Bigfoot costume.

(04:36):
One that will fit you. Right.
See, everyone's down for this, right? I'm down. Jess said her son can operate the crane.
Hook me up. Let's go. I would like to go bungee jumping. That sounds like a lot of fun.
I've never been bungee jumping. I've also never done any skydiving.

(04:59):
Yeah well you're still
young you think you can do all those things eventually yeah
but anyways mothman what is it what is mothman like what what is it so mothman
first originated in west virginia creature that was seen in point pleasant west

(05:22):
virginia back in 1966 1966,
there was a first newspaper article published in the Point Pleasant Register
dated November 16th of 1966,
titled Couples See Man-Sized Bird, Creature, Something.
The national press soon picked up the reports and helped spread the story across the United States.

(05:47):
Hmm. So a man-sized bird. Yeah. Man-sized bird.
And of course, one of the things that they've always noticed was the red eyes.
Hmm. Now, logically, logically, could it be anything like logical? Could be.
What's the biggest bird that we know?

(06:11):
Ostrich. But I don't think there's ostriches in West Virginia.
Maybe one escaped from a zoo or something. But does it have red eyes?
Maybe not. How many times has the Mothman been seen?
I'm not sure on that one. There's been a lot of sightings. The most recent sightings
are actually in the city of Chicago.

(06:33):
Chicago? Yep. Recent ones still. Like how recent?
Within the past couple years, I know there was somebody that recorded a video
back in, I think it was like 2018, 2019.
A giant bird-like creature that was like on top of a building and then flying off of it. Hmm.

(07:00):
Be able to pull up that video. Oh. Who else is here? Bob's here. Hi, Bob. Hey, Bob.
Yeah.
Multiple witness reports of Mothman in Chicago. Here it is right here.
If you guys wanted to see the latest sightings, is that showing up? Mm-hmm.

(07:25):
Three separate witnesses in the Chicago area reportedly spotted an enormous
flying creature that some have likened the legendary Mothman entity.
According to Roger Marsh of MUFON, who received the reports,
the sightings all occurred during a four-hour period on an evening in mid-April.
The first known appearance of the creature occurred around 10 p.m.

(07:48):
When the initial witness says that she and her husband as well as a pair of
friends noticed what looked like an enormous bat flying over them while they
were out on Lake Michigan.
She speculated that the monstrous flying beast was around six and a half feet
long and possessed eerie eyes that glowed in the moonlight.
Although the mysterious creature departed rather quickly, the group then saw

(08:11):
a bright green UFO skim across the sky.
The pair of odd observations left the witness shaken as she told Mufon that
I began feeling this overwhelming sensation of dread and told my husband that
I felt that it was prudent that we get off the water as quickly as possible.
A subsequent sighting of the creature happened a mere 30 minutes later when

(08:32):
a group of people noticed a huge owl like creature that looked to be six feet
tall and had glowing red eyes.
The scene was so strange that they speculated that it could have been a lechuza,
which is a legendary shape-shifting entity in Mexico that transforms from an old woman into an owl.
In the final report, a man said that he and his co-workers saw the creature

(08:55):
at around two in the morning that same night.
He marveled to MUFON that the flying thing was nearly seven feet tall and was
jet black aside from bright yellow eyes.
Similar to the initial witness, the man said that the creature made everyone
feel very uneasy and some of his more daring co-workers actually threw rocks at it.

(09:16):
Marsh stresses that the series of reports could be hoaxes.
Chicago residents may want to keep an eye on the sky over the next few weeks
in case the puzzling creature makes another appearance in the area.
Music.

(09:48):
Hmm well i think that if
i ever came across mothman the last thing i would
do was be throwing rocks at it yeah six
foot seven foot creature pick me up like thank you
no thank you like i feel
like that was a was a lap lapse of judgment

(10:08):
don't don't throw
rocks at mothman man that's that's weird that's weird like i i think like you
see the pictures and you're like okay like maybe it's like a man in a wingsuit
but like yeah which is possible however i did see,

(10:31):
what was that show called with josh gates expedition unknown yes they had an episode
mothman where they actually went to chicago to check out the latest sightings
of it and there was a guy who was a professional jumper that to verify that
nah this isn't a wingsuit.

(10:56):
Craig says that he'll take on
take down mothman mothman versus bigfoot yeah can i at least oh Oh, yes.
Mothman versus Bigfoot.
Like, I would pay to see that.
Listen, I understand that's the same height of my family members,

(11:18):
but like, at least with them, I can take them out at the knees and they're going to drop.
Okay. I ain't trying to square up with Mothman. Especially he can like,
you know, grab a hold of me, fly me up 2000 feet and then drop me.
No, thank you. No, thank you. No.
I'm a little short, but I'll dress up as Mothman. Yeah, you're not tall enough to be Mothman. No. No.

(11:44):
That's interesting, though. But, like, if it was first seen in West Virginia,
right? Mm-hmm. Why Chicago? Why go to Chicago?
Like, it's mainly seen in West Virginia, right? Yeah, West Virginia has been
the site of the most sightings of it.
So it's not like Bigfoot and there's sightings all over. Correct.

(12:09):
I haven't heard reports like oh there's multiple mothman
just one mothman we're bigfoot there's multiple so where did mothman come from
like where just showed up one day and was like hey guys i'm here now no one
really knows there are some theories that back in the 1950s there was

(12:31):
a group of i think teenagers
who encountered a ufo
and there was
the flatwoods monster that came supposedly came out of this ufo that had the
glowing eyes that was potentially similar to it that was a couple hours east

(12:53):
of point pleasant so that's one of the theories that it could It could potentially
be the Flatwoods monster also.
Hmm. I've also heard people say that it's possibly like a failed science experiment that broke out.
Yep. Not far from Point Pleasant is the old TNT area where the government was

(13:17):
creating a bunch of munitions for the World Wars.
It was TNT plant. they were
potential experiments there
that they were creating for the war expedition unknown
they go into one of the areas where the part of this tnt zone was like classified

(13:44):
and nobody else was really allowed in that area it's also surrounded by swamp swamp.
So the only way to get over to it was to row a boat over it. Right.
And they did go over there, but there was really nothing.
Everything has been cleaned out. Oh, of course. Hmm. So that's a possibility.

(14:12):
What's that? Is there any other theories? There might be. I'm on a camping trip to the swamp.
I don't know if they would really like guests, you know, just coming to hang out.
That's an interesting theory. Skinwalker. A flying skinwalker.

(14:33):
Have to look up some Native American stuff around there. I haven't seen that talked about.
Well, they also said, you know, that some people believe that in that video
it said that it's an old woman that transforms shapeshifts into an owl. Mm-hmm.
I would assume that that comes from, like, Native American legends.

(14:53):
Sounds very Native American-ish. Could be.
There's also people that think it's just a really giant owl. Yeah.
Could it now get that big? I don't know. I don't know. That's a real big owl.
Right. And how does it go unnoticed?

(15:14):
Obviously, people see it.
But, you know, I don't know. What?
Dad says he has quite a few theories about Mothman, but anime relaxation is going on at the moment.
Tell him to get his priorities straight. right?
Do this priority straighter. Else he can't come to the Mothman festival.

(15:35):
Right. Which we're going to this year, right?
This year, this year, next year. One of the years, probably next year, next year. Yeah.
Like it's really soon. It's in September every year.
Yeah. We'll plan like a live podcast when we're there. Yeah.
It definitely has to be something to be planned out. We'd like to get a vendor table down there.

(15:57):
That would be cool. Talk to some people.
It would, it would be able, it would be cool if we could find somebody,
which I'm sure we would be able to, to find somebody who's actually seen Mothman. That would be cool.
That's what I'm hoping. I'm sure.
Mothman museum. Definitely want to check that out.
Which the Mothman museum has the original police reports from the very first sighting.

(16:25):
Really? Yep.
Hmm. which the very first sighting which happened on November 15th of 1966.
Young couples from Point Pleasant, Roger and Linda Scarberry,
and Steve and Mary Millett, told police that they had seen a large black creature

(16:45):
whose eyes glowed red and standing at the side of the road near the TNT area,
which is the site of the former World War II munitions plant.
Linda Scarberry described it as a slender, muscular man, about seven feet tall with white wings.
However, she was able to discern its face due to the hypnotic effect of its eyes.

(17:08):
Distressed, the witnesses sped away, reporting that the creature flew after
their car, making a screeching sound, and it pursued them as far as the Point Pleasant city limits.
Hmm. So when they passed the city limits, it didn't follow them anymore? Nope. Huh.
Yeah, it stopped following after that. Over the next few days,

(17:32):
more people reported similar sightings after local newspapers covered it.
Two volunteer firemen who saw it said there was a large bird with red eyes.
County Sheriff George Johnson believed the sightings were due to an unusually
large heron he termed a shite poke.

(17:52):
Contractor Noel Patricks told Johnson that when he aimed a flashlight at a creature
in a nearby field, its eyes glowed like bicycle reflectors.
Additionally, he blamed buzzing noises from his television set and the disappearance
of his German shepherd dog on the creature.
Wildlife biologist Robert L. Smith at West
Virginia University told reporters that descriptions

(18:16):
and sightings fit the sandhill crane
it's a large american bird large american
crane almost as tall as a man with a seven foot
wingspan and reddish coloring around its eyes the bird may have wandered out
of its migration route and therefore was unrecognized at first because it's
not native to the region okay but if it's if it's a crane right it would It would have a long neck,

(18:42):
right? If I'm thinking of a white thing.
And really skinny bird-like legs. Right.
And if you look at the pictures other people have taken, which no one ever takes
clear, high-definition photos. It's always blurry.
Right. Like, that doesn't look like a crane at all. No. So, I don't think I believe that theory.

(19:08):
You know everybody everybody wants to put logic behind it they want to say oh
well it could be this it could be that but there's things that like i don't
think it's a crane yeah no i'm not one to say oh yeah mothman's real but like
we don't know i mean i like to go look for mothman.
Absolutely yeah i don't know what i would do if i actually found one i

(19:31):
would get a still good video
for sure hopefully hopefully but like
going back to the original sighting when they pulled the four original witnesses
and they interviewed them separately and they all wrote down on the police reports
about their experiences and all four of them pretty much wrote the exact same

(19:54):
description and all four of those police reports are in the
mothman museum yeah i guess we're
gonna have to go to the museum because i definitely want to
see those that's a whole fact you just
don't know what's really out there and we none of us really do nope we
don't like there's so many places you know that are just heavy dense wooded

(20:17):
areas that we just you just don't know you just don't know i also like this
too you should ask for mothman's autograph you should so you're gonna get you're
gonna get punched i'm gonna get my,
yeah i'm gonna get my leg autographed and then get tattooed over yes that you
know how cool that would be exactly that would be so cool is that kind of question.

(20:44):
There has not been any physical evidence. It's really just the people saying what they've seen.
The pictures, potential videos.
But I also haven't been to the Mothman Museum yet. So I haven't.
I just learned about the Mothman Museum. I didn't know it was a thing until

(21:08):
I found the Mothman Festival.
Possible so i need to do some more
looking into it see this is
exactly what i feel i see something with as much of
this earth that is unexplored i'm not willing to rule cryptids out i'm not saying
they exist but i'm not saying they don't either and that's what i said like
when we had our bigfoot episode there's there's not enough evidence to say that

(21:30):
it does exist but there's also not enough evidence to say that it doesn't yeah
and that's what makes it so fascinating
because you know we can
sit here and speculate all night long but like none of
us are really gonna know unless you know we have that firsthand account you
know he just wants

(21:51):
a friend ray you can be mothman's friends i'll be his friend oh we got damien
in the house isn't it time it's like 3 a.m over there but there's there's so
many mysteries of the world there's so many yeah,
I mean I would love to meet every single cryptid is that gonna happen probably not.

(22:14):
There is a ton out there. So many.
Damien says, Multidimensional has
been proven only stands to reason multidimensional beings can cross over.
Yeah? I mean, is there multiple dimensions? I'm a believer in multiple dimensions.
I mean, I would like to go visit the alternate me. Is that a thing?

(22:39):
Supposedly it is. I got questions. The ocean's another mystery. Yeah.
Yep. We don't know. Speaking of, I was scrolling through Facebook the other day, as one does.
And you remember the whole, like, Ocean Gate thing that happened last year? Was it last year?
Well. Sometime last year. Yeah. Well, they plan on going again,

(23:02):
but to this, like, sinkhole in the Bahamas.
I saw that. that like if it didn't work the first time do we do we think that
it's it's it's okay to do it again.
Like hey so we sit around i guess you know josh gates from that was supposed to go on one,

(23:24):
on ocean gate or another company no on on the ocean gate one the one that imploded
and he He was like, no, like, I'm good.
He was supposed to, but then, like, he saw everything, and it was just like, no.
I mean, with all the safety issues they have for me. I'm good.
Okay, maybe it's not your bedtime yet. It's only 1230 in the morning.

(23:49):
Bob says he agrees with Icy, just saying that the way Mothman is represented seems fake.
Could be. But again, there's not enough information.
Like, I'm not going to go and rule out. like who am i to say like oh that doesn't
exist like i don't know like i don't know,
you know my sister said it's a fantastic idea genius to send the ocean gate down there again,

(24:17):
hopefully they fix some stuff hopefully hopefully
hopefully but but
mothman is it real is it fake like bob
said bad photos and changing tales
do people's stories change there might be some stories change but i understand

(24:38):
the bad photos that's with any cryptid any cryptid sighting there's always bad
photos yeah if we see anything about don't hope not to get any bad,
i i need a clear high definition
photo like i get like people like in those moments they're not expecting it

(24:59):
they're probably scared i would probably be scared but like hold the camera
steady that's all we're asking just hold it right that's it move on in mexico
let's move on i don't know what that is.
Is
something to do with UFOs. Do you think that do you think Mothman is an alien

(25:26):
dropped off by a spaceship?
Possible. I mean, there's people that believe that Bigfoot is like an alien creation.
That the aliens just dropped off one day.
Craig said Silver Bridge, December 15th, 1967 Collapse killed 46 in Point Pleasant.
Mothman was seen on it before the collapse.

(25:48):
Yeah. Hmm. Did Mothman muscle the bridge? That's one of the theories behind Mothman.
According to a Georgian newspaper, Russian UFOlogists claim that Mothman sightings
in Moscow foreshadowed a 1999 Russian apartment bombings.

(26:09):
They blame Mothman on the bridge collapse. Collapse. So there was some theories in that.
Now, do you think Mothman is just coming and just like causing chaos?
Is he causing chaos or is he being there to warn people?
That's a good theory. But then again, how does he know what's going to happen?

(26:31):
I never thought about that.
Maybe Mothman just has a really bad rep. Maybe he's just there to be like,
hey, guys, you should probably pay attention. Is Mossman a time traveler?
Maybe. I don't know.
Traveler again i have questions i have a lot of questions i if i ever run into

(26:52):
mothman i'm gonna invite him like hey bro you want to come out to like a coffee
with me like i want to pick your brain a little bit that would be some shit
sitting in a coffee shop with mothman,
how long before like the fbi or like cia show up bob said in the movie he's
a time traveler I haven't seen the

(27:12):
Mothman Prophecies since I was in high school. That was a long time ago.
I've never seen them. Probably 20 years. So I need to definitely watch it again.
Also, when we were at Pennhurst, we got a contact to the gentleman who owns

(27:34):
the property where Mothman Prophecies was filmed.
So we might be going down there at some point
definitely that'd be pretty cool
mom said i'm gonna have to take the coffee to him yeah
so let me just be like let me just like message all my friends be like hey guys like
i'm gonna go meet up with mothman for coffee like he

(27:57):
likes it like straight black like if i'm not
back in like an hour like call someone
oh we got wade in
the house he says he feel i feel like
you're dealing with an interdimensional being when you're talking about the
mothman then remember that you could be dealing with the tuple effect creation
where people's beliefs create just what they want to believe possible yeah again

(28:22):
like if everybody believes so heavily in something do they do our own minds create it,
with poltergeist activity also that people like will leave it into existence.
That movie messed me up as a kid movie poltergeist like the one from what was

(28:43):
it the 80s that messed me up but then okay damien makes a good point if it is
something that people are making up in their mind like what about the the video
and like the pictures that people have caught yeah Yeah.
But how powerful are our minds to be able to do things like that?

(29:08):
That's a great question.
Do we even know how powerful the mind is?
Like, is there someone that has like a, you know, like, how much do we know
about our own heads? We don't.
Damien said that some reports are from pilots while flying.
Bob said another theory is other

(29:29):
spirits will move into a situation and pretend to be the wish for spirit.
Right like mass hallucination,
could be i mean we go into the mass hallucination sorry so like one group of
people sees this mothman and then everybody's like wow we got to keep a lookout

(29:53):
for this thing and everybody just
like depicts it into their brain and then they all
start seeing it yeah but again like
how does that explain like the video surveillance or the picture yeah you know
because you can think that you see something you take a picture like if it's
not really there you're not going to get it on camera yep so if everyone made

(30:16):
up the mothman like what are we looking at because it's not a
crane that doesn't have a big neck like wait said loving the top loving the
topic it can absolutely affect poltergeist activity it can absolutely be affected by our minds,
again the,

(30:36):
damien said be a shapeshifter banshee or skinwalker it could be it absolutely
could be what if the mothman is essentially just a wendigo the big boss one Hmm.
Because Mothman can fly, right? Right. I've never... I don't think Wendigo's

(30:59):
fly. Mm-mm. Or Skinwalkers.
But then again, like, how much do we really know?
Donna said the brain is very powerful.
Mm-hmm. I wish I had telekinesis. I wish I did. Yeah.
Just hold out my hand and then, like, a large iced coffee would just appear

(31:19):
in my hand, like, five seconds later. That would be amazing.
I wouldn't have to even get out of bed. It'd be great.
It really would be the life.
So Mothman, is it real? Is it not real? We don't know.
What do you guys think? Do you think Mothman is real? Are known for having supernatural
abilities, super speed, super strength, et cetera.

(31:42):
So essentially, I guess it wouldn't be possible.
It would be. Waits at it can be
absolutely be a shapeshifter based on our beliefs
and all the energy combines to create the desire effect yeah but
again why why is our minds creating monsters
you know i don't

(32:04):
know i wish i could shapeshift that would be cool again damien bringing up movies
that messed me up as a child messed me up and the cute boy had to die why'd
the cute boy have to die like come on,
when i was a kid i was terrified of crows specifically because of this movie.

(32:28):
Specifically every time i saw a crow outside i'm like oh this is the day this
is the day wow that's great like i said because it's not what we know that scares
us is what we don't know that it does.
Yeah. Fear the unknown.
See, people fear the unknown, but,
by it you know i'm fascinated

(32:51):
by the unknown oh me too i want
to not be able to explain something and that blows my mind
blows my mind mom makes
a good point too because the world is a scary place and monsters are
less scary yeah that is
a whole fact zach says i think
it's real i like the idea of a science project by the

(33:13):
government gone wrong yeah it's possible
none of us truly know the kind
of stuff government is doing and we're never gonna know but why are they why
are they creating monsters what are they doing like what what's what's the end
game here maybe monsters were like the original creation for the wars to you

(33:34):
know try to gain that edge it didn't work,
now you know now we're getting to the age of ai.
Damien said it's the fear of being wrong and change yeah wade
said ever been to the house that's a perfect example of the topple effect
over and over again thus cementing the energy of what

(33:56):
they fear there we actually did go to
the hen still house the beginning of the month we did
ray became someone's bitch right yeah
yeah over over the
phasma box and said you're mine bitch but it
was it was very quiet it was he was all talk yeah but other than like phasma

(34:24):
box responses like nothing nothing too crazy happened it was also raining so
we didn't get a chance to go to the pond or to the tree,
but big foot sightings from what I hear out in the woods behind the Hinsdale
house. So like, I definitely want to get back.
Damien said ancient Egypt does show people with wings for arms. Maybe they did exist.

(34:45):
This is how they didn't have human harms. I mean,
Beliefs have to come from somewhere, right? Mm-hmm. You know,
whether it's something that's true, whether it's something that one made up
in their minds, you know.
But if you do look at, you know, the Egyptian, like, hieroglyphics,

(35:06):
like, there is winged people.
Yeah. Maybe when they were, like, drawing all of them, like,
maybe it was, like, I'm just going to mess with people in, like, 10,000 years.
Give me wings, you know?
Lexi said, also, if we think about historical facts, Wendigos are known for being in a sacred area.

(35:30):
Where is the Mothman in the state known for native spaces?
Hmm. Yeah. That is interesting.
Well, then why is it in Chicago now? I mean, I would like to believe that it
had a reason to go to Chicago.
I don't know what that reason is.
Did anything crazy happen? That would be my question.

(35:55):
I don't think anything crazy happened in Chicago. During the time that it was seen? Mm-mm.
Mm-mm. Because if you go back to it was there when the bridge collapsed.
So if you want to say that Mothman is warning of something, I don't know.
And that's the gist of it. We just don't know. Mm-hmm.

(36:19):
Wade said he got attacked there. They don't like me there. So many good comments
here. Great show. Well, thank you, Wade. We appreciate it.
Next time you go to Hinsdale, you'll have to let us know.
Absolutely. Okay. How did it get to Chicago? It flew, Ray. That's how it got to Chicago. It flew.
Precursor for a disaster.

(36:40):
Maybe he was just going on vacation. Yeah. Mothman needs a little bit of R&R
sometimes. A little change of scenery.
Wade said, your show is so interesting
because there's so many ideas and theories. There is. Yeah. Tons.
Global warming. Maybe I got a little too hot for him down there.

(37:01):
Maybe that's why. In the mountains of West Virginia, though?
Listen, once you get inside the mind of Mothman, you let me know.
You let me know what that man thinks, okay?
You got it. But is it real? Is it fake?
If it's real, what is it? Is it just a giant, like, half man,
half bird? Are we just making it up in our heads?

(37:25):
Like, what is it? Do you think Mothman's real? I think there's a possibility.
I need to make my way down to Point Pleasant. I need to look at some more stuff,
go to the Mothman Museum, Mothman Festival. going to the middle of the West Virginia mountains.
So the TNC zone try to summon mothman. Sure. I'm down.

(37:50):
Great. Ray is going to be mind milled with the mothman. We would learn more
if you were able to do that. True.
Damien said, won't be declared real unless they kill and have a corpse. Yep.
That's why people Bigfoot. Yep. Yeah.
You know, you get blurry videos and photos, but, you know, we've never found a dead Bigfoot.

(38:16):
But they say that there's a theory that Bigfoot, the Bigfoot species, buries their dead.
So we wouldn't really know.
If he starts hovering around lights, we know how Mothman converts.
You know if one day you're just like staring blank you know into a light i'll

(38:38):
have to i'll have to like you know be like hey ray back to earth come on that's funny that's funny,
so how how would one attract mothman would one was it just like regular moths like do we just like,
have a really big light and hope mothman comes well it's

(38:58):
also a possibility that it's not a moth at all so if
they just came up with the idea oh it looks like a moth but
what if it's not a moth at all then light's not
going to attract them anyway true do they call it a mothman because of the red
eyes is that where they get the mothman from probably all right so i'm gonna

(39:21):
have to carry a taser around for scientifical purposes because damien just gave me full-on permission
to tase you and i'm taking that as full-on permission so if i ever tase you just know,
damien said it's okay mothman because wings fold like a moth that makes sense.

(39:44):
What do we got to do to get you to dress up as mothman uh i'll dress up as mothman
i don't mind and then craig's gonna dress up like bigfoot and we're gonna have
a uh, have a battle of Mothman versus Bigfoot.
Just hook me up to the crane. Let me fly around them and Superman punch them. Okay.

(40:06):
Get in a video yeah we can turn it into a movie just just imagine the views
we would get mothman versus bigfoot movie we don't want ray to go to jail no see,
we're really on to something here you know bigfoot you know just might like

(40:29):
Like Superman punch you instead.
But Bigfoot's got bad knees. Bigfoot does have bad knees.
Craig said, call UFC tickets, popcorn, the whole nine.
Thomas says, Hey, Hey Thomas.

(40:50):
My listen, my dad is an equipment operator. He could probably drive the crane too.
Yeah. See, I'm telling you, right?
The people, it's what the people want. If the people want Bigfoot versus Mothman,
they should get Bigfoot versus Mothman.
I'm down. All right, Craig, you got to let me know when you're free.
This is going to be great.

(41:10):
I'm just going to be sitting on the sidelines with the camera.
That's it. And then trying not to laugh. Ooh, the chupacabra.
Listen, what if we just get all of our friends to dress up as some kind of cryptid
and just have like a battle of the cryptids?
We should bring them all. that would be a great video it would
be a great video oh craig says i'm the

(41:33):
ring girl i'm gonna walk around with a sign that says round one
of course we can add the jersey devil jersey devil is on the list it's on the
list damien if that happens you're gonna have to fly over like you're gonna
have to fly over the pond and come see it in person cryptid battle royale see i'm telling

(41:55):
you the people want it right the people want
it now we're gonna have to do it now we're gonna
have to do it i think there better be
snacks that would be cool all dressed
up as cryptids dancing to the monster mash that sounds like a great tiktok damien
must be part of the show listen this is gonna be a big whole thing like we really

(42:20):
should do this oh damn see,
even more people that'd be amazing it would be absolutely amazing
and knowing i had to do nothing but
just stand there and watch it all fight that's gonna be great it's gonna be
great but yeah mothman who knows what it is hopefully we see it someday yeah

(42:42):
next september we're gonna go to the festival do some more research talk to some people yeah.
A yearly event, see? We should just find a location, throw a party.
Only rule is you have to come in dressed up like a cryptid.
There's a big park right down the street from me. Listen.

(43:06):
They dress up in medieval times stuff and battle it out with foam swords and stuff. All right.
We could select another day and have a cryptid battle. That would be cool.
I'm telling you, you got to give the people what they want, Ray.

(43:27):
The Hansen Legends Monster Mash. We already got the name for it.
I'm just going to have to buy my Mothman costume soon.
Craig needs his...
What's a Mothman eat? Hmm. Is it a vegetarian that you eat meat?
Maybe he eats squirrels.
Squirrels are good. Maybe rabbits. Yeah. We'll never know.

(43:50):
I'll be sure to ask that question if I ever find him. Like, hey,
what do you eat? And then when he bites my head off, like, we'll know. We'll know.
But, yeah, I think that's kind of it, what we got on Mothman, right? Yeah, for now.
Definitely more future episodes coming, including the Haunts and Legends Monster
Mash. It's going to be coming soon. As soon as we finish up the planning phase.

(44:13):
Because now we have to plan it.
Y'all can even have some of your spooky friends be vendors there too epic event,
yeah we'll have all our friends we'll have vendors there and people just duke
it out in the parking lot it's great then we're going to,
