(00:00):
I get really, really excited about wildlife, like really excited,
whether that is in a dream.
But if I see like a wild animal, be that a bunny, a turtle,
an owl, a raven, red cardinal, a white-chested cardinal, anything that is wild,

(00:25):
I just get excited as a five-year-old.
Honest to God, I am so turning into this five-year-old version of me when it's
coming to wildlife and flowers and nature.
And I always had this not so friendly relationship with nature because nature

(00:51):
to me always feels spiky and uncomfortable,
like not the right temperature or texture.
But there is something that's happening and I wonder, I wonder if this is the
beginning of the last phase on Earth as a human,

(01:11):
providing you have like a privilege to get to an older age.
I wonder if this enthusiasm for wildlife and connection and delight, it's a delight.
Is to do with that need for serenity that this phase in life is, I started to feel,

(01:41):
is going to gift me or is given availability to. because.
It's like I want to be less and less in the hamster wheel.
I never wanted to be in hamster wheel, but, you know, we all are.
And more and more into a place of still a lot of wonder and enthusiasm and curiosity.

(02:10):
But the enthusiasm doesn't come from the places that it used to come.
And I'm just feeling that this
newish relationship or kind of a different wonder and excitement that I'm noticing

(02:34):
is to do with a sense of serenity.
That now comes a little bit with having been in this planet for a longer time
and having had a collection of experiences, good and bad, all of it.

(02:54):
Are you starting to feel the gift of this?
Do you actually believe that happiness is a sense of peace and serenity?
Because I'm starting to realize that happiness to me means being at peace, serene, calm.

(03:24):
It kind of creates that space in which you are free to wonder and get excited
about small things, natural things,
beautiful things that are nothing to do with achievement or things.

(03:50):
