This week, I engaged in two conversations with friends and observed a subtle yet profound transformation within them. It was a kind of maturing or quickening that seemed almost imperceptible, much like the gradual changes you notice in a child only when you step back and reflect.

In these moments, I realized how this transformation is something you can't plan for. It’s a natural process, akin to the cycles of life: creation, maintenance, and destruction. While we often set goals and intentions, true maturation and consolidation happen autonomously, beyond our direct control.

This episode delves into the timeless quality of our soul's evolution, the ever-present inner critic, and the relentless cheerleader within us. Join me as I explore the importance of perspective and becoming an observer to truly acknowledge these milestones in our lives and the lives of those around us.

On two different occasions this week, I had a conversation with friends,
and in those conversations I noticed how there was something about them that
was maturing, that was quickening,
that was transforming almost imperceptibly into something,

(00:22):
a kind of consolidation. validation.
It's the kind of change that you can't plan for.
And it's the kind of change that you realized if you're observing a little bit from afar,
like, you know, when you see a child or where you're growing with a child and day by day,

(00:47):
you don't notice the change until you do, or you look at pictures from the year
before and you realize, oh my goodness,
there has been so much change.
In these two occasions with my friends, I noticed that kind of change.
For the life of me, I can't see it in myself, although I know it kind of happens, but I can't.

(01:14):
It's like there is this timeless quality to our soul is there because we always
talk about soul evolution and how we grow.
So although the soul is timeless or ageless, nonetheless, it's changing.

(01:36):
And it's also ageless, the inner critic that we have or that voice inside, is it?
Also timeless, the relentless cheerleader inside.
Anyway, perspective, that distance and becoming the observer or even the witness

(02:00):
of somebody's evolution or transformation is also one of the components of,
I wouldn't say the realization,
but the acknowledgement of that milestone, that transformation, if you know what I mean.
And although whilst we try to, and it's so good to put goals and have intentions,

(02:32):
there is a process that's going through that is completely autonomous.
Astronomers that process of maturation
that process of consolidation cannot
be rushed cannot be done with intention because it's a natural process it's

(02:55):
a bit like the creation maintenance and destruction in the cycle of life and
there are there's nothing to be done there's There's nothing to be added.
