Richard shares how he got started in bowhunting during his late teens—drawn to the challenge and the early season advantage it provided over rifle hunting. We dive deep into what drives him to hunt, the precision required to harvest whitetail deer, and the lessons he’s learned from the field. He also gives us an inside look into his current journey in competition archery, where he’s working his way out of the amateur class and setting his sights on the pro division in 2026. On top of that, Richard is preparing for one of life’s greatest adventures—becoming a granddad this September!
