Welcome back to another episode, once again, of In Time Crime, Crime Mini.
(00:39):
How are you guys doing this wonderful, wonderful Thursday late afternoon?
Today, I'm going to be releasing two bonus episodes for the Sundays that I've missed.
For those that are keeping up with the actual day that I release these episodes,
episodes it's every Sunday for the fully
length episodes and then our
(01:01):
regular or short episodes or cry minis are every Thursday so I have not released
a episode in the past three Sundays this is the third Sunday that has passed
that I have not done so so I'm going to release two two episodes.
So just stick around to hear those tomorrow. I'm going to release them tomorrow.
(01:26):
Also, like I said, the 27th was my birthday and therefore that Sunday doesn't
count. I'm not doing an episode for that Sunday.
That was my day off to enjoy these 36 years on earth. Okay.
So today's is a crime mini, like I said.
And once again, I truly appreciate you guys for tuning in to every episode, including this one.
(01:54):
Today's crime mini. Oh, I'm sorry.
I'm your host, Robin Bagayoko. Yes. Oh my gosh. I'm so thrown off. It's been so long.
But yes, today's episode is not about a person, you know, a regular true crime
tends to be about people.
(02:16):
Today's story that I found quite interesting, because it starts off,
like, if you've known about serial killers, you've known them,
you know, if you read about their earlier lifestyle,
they were killing animals, they start out by hurting animals,
or doing things like that, you know.
So today's story that I'm going to tell you guys was kind of intriguing because
(02:40):
these two young, I'm going to say two young men,
I do not know what's going on with them at this point in life,
but these two little boys, they were doing activities,
which would somehow show you that at some point these boys were probably going
(03:00):
to be a menace to society.
Okay. So let's begin with today's episode that is brought to you by the date,
October the 23rd of 2002.
So today's story is about two teenage boys,
So two sicko teen brothers set a beautiful hawk on fire, urinated on it,
(03:27):
and dragged it on the pavement with their bicycle.
So this was according to the Long Island cops.
So this was in Long Island. So the two boys, age 14 and 15, then went and bragged to their neighbors,
who then rushed the half-dead bird, bleeding and gasping for air, to a veterinarian.
(03:53):
Unfortunately, the red-tailed hawk, a foot tall with two foot wingspan, had to be euthanized.
They had to put the bird down, unfortunately.
So police last night called it one of the worst cases of animal torture in Suffolk County history.
(04:19):
It's really beyond belief. Nobody knows what possessed them to do this.
So this was according to a Lieutenant Bill Madigan that said that the horrific
torture was discovered by a neighbor of the boys on Seymour Road in Medford.
So she said that she She saw a bird attached to a rope and being dragged along
(04:44):
the road by these kids on their bike.
Her name. That's what the officer said that the woman said.
So on closer inspection, the neighbor, Vanessa Smith, realized that the hawk was alive as it.
This word it pathetically tried to flap its blackened, injured wings.
(05:09):
She wrapped it in a shirt and took it to a Selden Animal Emergency Services
where a vet determined it could not be saved.
So the officer then said that the boys who attend local schools found the bird,
possibly injured, sitting in a yard, grabbed it and set it on fire as it squawked in pain.
(05:35):
Then to extinguish the flames, they unzipped their pants and urinated on their winged victim. him.
The brothers with their parents in tow surrendered yesterday and were charged
as juveniles with animal torture.
And this was in August on August the 28th. Okay.
(05:59):
Actually, I should have said that that date for this, this story is August the 28th of 2002.
So I'm going to to put that as the headline for this episode
but do you see what I'm saying like if
you look if you look up the history like
I'm telling you look up the childhood behavior of
serial killers when they first started
(06:22):
out doing what they're doing and I you will
see most of them started out hurting animals
doing things of that nature to animals
and you know it's it's really
sad you know just like they're hurting these innocent animals that can't do
anything about it that's pretty much why they turn out to be like this because
(06:44):
they're hurting people killing innocent people that you know most of the time
they're catching them off guard so it's kind of the same when you see little
children, herding animals, oh, they need counseling right away.
They're going to need counseling, prayers, Jesus, holy water,
all of that immediately, because this is leading nowhere good fast.
(07:06):
If you leave a child alone to have these behaviors, it's not going to lead to
anything better in life.
They're going to do worse things when they get older, like nobody's stopping
them from being this horrible little human being.
So then they're going to grow up to be big, horrible human
beings what possesses something
(07:28):
someone to hurt an animal
especially innocent animal because you know
you're like oh well we kill chickens and cows and we're eating them we're killing
them for food I personally have never killed an animal personally for food but
I eat me some chicken and some cows but I personally have not killed an animal so So...
(07:52):
These are the behaviors of future menace to society, future serial killers,
future disgusting people.
So if you see a child behaving in this manner, please nip it in the butt,
nip it in the butt, get rid of this behavior if you can, as soon as possible.
(08:13):
