Anyway, um, as things have been gearingup for the pageant, I have been doing
tons and tons and tons and tons ofinterviews with the contestants.
Just kind of getting to know themand share their stories because we
are scattered all over the state.
Um, So, I'm sprinkling some otherthings in there because, you know,

life keeps going even though I'mgetting ready for the pageant.
Um, and then this is just, I thinka while ago, one of the episodes
a minute ago, I talked about howI was going to do a charity gala
for my birthday, and guess what?
It happened.
We raised 1, 400 at my silentauction for Hearts Knit Together.

Um, that's the non profit thatI went to raise money for.
And then I had a really, I had a reallygood, Turnout from the community.
It just, it really helped a lot to havepeople come and show up for me because
it was my birthday and I'm not used topeople showing up for me and really I
didn't want gifts or presents or anything.

(01:48):
I just wanted to take a moment andhelp other people because I think we
forget how fortunate we are and wetake a lot of our lives for granted.
Um, But after the gala, I mean,I could have just Venmoed it, I
mean, that would have been easy.
But, um, I asked my friend to come withme and we went on a little tour of the

facility because hearts knit together.
They had a flood and so they had tomove from the one building to North
Salt Lake and from North Salt Lakeall the way down to Lehigh or Alpine
or wherever it is, Utah County.
Um, and I didn't get to see the facility.
So I went to see the newfacility and it is beautiful.

And the work they do is just so tender.
They really put a lot of TLC intoeverything that they're doing.
So I went and I got to meet a lot ofthe people that work there regularly.
And we got to take a tour and see.
The happenings see everything in progress.
It was really, really cool.
