- Assistant professor of clinical medicine at the IU School of Medicine.
- Earned a doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction from Marshall University.
- Nationally registered paramedic with over 35 years of experience, including roles as a flight paramedic and EMS supervisor.
- Over 30 years of experience in simulation-based learning, having held leadership roles in several simulation centers and programs.
- Elected a Fellow of the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (FSSH) in 2024.
- Active volunteer with the American Heart Association, serving on various committees and international activities.
- Published over 35 peer-reviewed manuscripts and abstracts, currently serving on editorial boards for leading journals in simulation and healthcare.
