Im Anschluss wechselte Sebastian in den privaten Kapitalmarkt und investierte aus einem Fonds in innovative Unternehmen wie ChargeX und Volocopter.
Dabei kam er erstmals mit dem Thema Impact Investing in Berührung. Diese Erfahrungen motivierten ihn, mit AQUATY eine digitale Lösung zu entwickeln, die kostspielige und ineffiziente Investment-Prozesse am privaten Kapitalmarkt revolutioniert.
Im Gespräch geht es darum, welche Rolle Impact-Investments für eine nachhaltige Zukunft spielen, warum mehr Transparenz und klare Kriterien nötig sind, um Vertrauen zu schaffen, und wie AQUATY es schafft, Transaktionskosten von 16 % auf unter 1 % zu senken – ein bedeutender Schritt hin zu einem „Nasdaq-Moment“ für Private Markets. Zudem wird die Bedeutung staatlicher Förderprogramme wie der WIN-Initiative hervorgehoben und diskutiert, worauf die Bundesregierung bei der Umsetzung achten sollte, um Innovationen gezielt zu fördern.
