Hello, and welcome back to the Maths Winning Podcast with
me Joshua Fox. And this week we've had the hard
launch of a brand new relationship between two unsuspecting cast members,
Athena and Billy. And when I say unsuspecting, we actually
all suspected this may happen several months ago. And also
when I say they've hard launched this, that is actually

just how the media are reporting on this apparent new relationship.
But is that the actual reality, because I I'm not
so sure, which is why I just spoke to Athena
directly today and said, Yo, what is happening? But before
I get to that, let's just start at the beginning.
This current speculation all began maybe a week or two

ago when Athena shared a TikTok with Billy and the
caption was the lockermoji, as in like they're locked in together.
And then there was a cute video of Billy hanging
out with Athena's son and those two seem to have
like the cutest relationship and I like besties. And then
last night Athena posted a few pictures to Instagram on

a date with Billy. He had his arm around her
and she captioned it, I'll keep this one with a
blushing face emoji, and then, as expected, the internet went crazy.
I'm recording this around twelve hours after Afena shared that post,
and it's at like one hundred thousand likes. I actually
had the top comment where I wrote now now now

then question mark, and Afena responded to my comment and
she said, I can't wait to speak with you, Josh.
I feel like we've got lots to catch up on.
And then Billy responded to my comment with just the
eyes emoji like hmmm, and then yeah, as Athena said
that today, basically I just hit her up and I
was like, yeah, so you two boyfriend and girlfriend? Are

we all be co trolled here as some like elaborate
social media prank? And the answer is none of those things.
And after speaking briefly to Athena today, the best way
to kind of summarize what's going on between them is
to say that there isn't really a label, like they
are two people who are both into each other and

spending an increasing amount of time together over there in Perth,
and yeah, like it's looking good, it's looking promising, But
are they boyfriend and girlfriend? I don't think so. And
have they kissed? She didn't say when I asked, And
have they had sex? I don't know because I didn't
ask because that felt a bit creepy after she didn't
want to answer if they'd kissed. But I suppose I

can say they are both hopeful that something long term
could blossom here between them. But I just get the
vibe they're not rushing into saying, hey, we're a fisher,
we're boyfriend and girlfriend, despite everyone expecting that of them
because we've all watched them marrige strangers and it's funny actually,
because our expectations when it comes to reality television stars
is that they like race into every milestone, when in reality,

you know you might meet someone and date them for
a few months before being exclusive. So yeah, I suppose
until they come out and say there's an official label,
or just say they're seeing each other and it's looking good. Anyway,
